I know many other artists saw him as a huge influence and that he was loved by many. Personally I didn't see his greatness even if I like some of his songs. So to me it isn't a loss in itself and doesn't affect me. That doesn't matter and it's always sad when people die young. The more famous they were the bigger the news and to those affected I am sorry.

I worked with Prince once - very nice guy. It's really sad that he had to go so young.

I liked him, but I won't pretend I was a huge fan, as so many do when an iconic artist dies. However, as a musician myself, I always had endless respect for him. It seems like he was a master of all instruments. A better singer than most singers, a better guitarist than most guitarists.
