Fitz in Cracker is still one of the greatest ever TV performances, and preceded the likes of Tony Soprano etc

For me, he was, and always will be, Criminal Psychologist "Fitz" in Jimmy McGovern's wonderful TV series, Cracker. The episode To Be a Somebody with Robert Carlyle is unforgettable.

From Nuns On The Run to Cracker (one of THE best series about criminal psychology ever) to Harry Potter; the man was a legend. Sadly missed.
