Another legend passes. So important to indie cinema both in front and behind the camera. Also a great old school movie star. Been meaning to watch his Great Gatsby for awhile, now have even more of a reason too.

Oh, shame. I didn't know that he was responsible for Sundance. I hadn't realised it was named after one of his more famous roles.

I saw that too, yeah.

I wasn’t super familiar with his filmography, but I know he was big in the 70s. I only ever saw him in Winter Soldier and he was brilliant there. Always sad to lose another talented actor.

Sadly, I mostly only know him for Captain America The Winter Soldier. I've not seen his old works. But I do know he was a legend in the industry and founded the Sundance Film Festival.

My parents took me with them when they saw it in the theater (1973 so I was 4). I spent the next year calling him "The Sting" because I thought that was his name.

@Plasma - I actually had to look up the title you mentioned (Three Days of the Condor), because I hadn't even heard of it! It's got a good rating on imdb.com.
