Robbie Williams Comeback?

I just read yet another rumour on yahoo that Robbie Williams could be about to reunite with his old chums Take That, while at the same time there has been major talk of him recording a new album. I'm just curious how fans feel about this. Would you like to see him back with the band or is a new solo album your priority?

Personally, I would love him to do a one of thing with TT. A special concert of some sort, I think the path he has carved out for himself is too big for him to just be in Take That. I don't think it would satisfy him nor do I think it would satisfy fans. After that I would love a new album where he gets back to what he is good at, maybe even make up with Guy Chambers and write a few more classics fo us😉 A tour would be fabulous too😀

See, I don't think he is bigger than reuniting and staying with Take That, in fact I think its what his career needs, HOWEVER, I don't think the Boys would take him back as they are doing phenomenally well without.

I have to admit, I prefer them now than the first time.

Robbie, not really caring to be quite honest, but I don't think his ego will move for much.
 
I just read it too 🙂. I don't know what has to happen, Take That is ok now so maybe leave it + I like Robin's solo career from time to time.
 
How are Take That doing outside of the UK and Ireland? Have they done just as well in Europe?

They are pretty successful in Europe. I just looked at some chart positions of their singles. TT had more success in the UK than in the rest of Europe with the new stuff but still good enough. They were performing on many shows here in Germany and fans still went crazy, just like in the old days. Excet the fans grew a little older;-)

I just think they are more successful on the radio now than on TV.

And I agree with the posts above. Robbie is just too big of a star himself. He needs to release another solo album. However, I also think it would be nice, just to see the original band together for maybe one performance.
 
'twas speculated on the Radio 2 Baker/Ball show this morning that the portly, UFO-obsessed, Port Vale fan might well be making an appearance with Take That when they appear on The X-factor final, which is starting in about ten minutes...it was highlighted that it was only a rumour though. I'm still gonna be watching Merlin 🙂

I thought TT pulled out of the final?
Take that has got some nice lyrics in their songs..just not to my tuning , Better off without that robbie trouble him.
 
I dislike Robbie Williams, with a passion. To be honest, I never want to see his ned, scum face again.
 
Id love a robbie williams comeback. I have every album of his, he's great. Him and Katy perry are the best.
 
I'm serious;y hoping the boys don't take him back. I adore Take That, their new album is fabulous. they are doing amazingly well right now, and have proven that they don't need Robbie.

I did read in the newspaper this morning that Rob's only saying this to produce interest in his new album.
