Rock in Rio 2015

So, the dream is over, I'm back to (my) real (sucky) life, after the whole shebang: Rio de Janeiro, Leme-Copacabana, beach, sun, caipirinha and ROCK!

My third time attending Rock in Rio (the first being in 1985, and the second in 2013). I loved it all, although the crowd sometimes is suffocating! It couldn't be different, with an audience of over 80.000 people! And it was hot as hell during the day! I'm still all “!!!”!

F****** AMAZING! I was far away from the stage, but hear them (LOUD, VERY LOUD) – really listening to Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett and Trujillo LIVE is something I cannot put in words. They are just phenomenal!!!

At the site of the first Rock in Rio (Barra da Tijuca, 1985), they are now building the Olympic Village for the 2016 Summer Olympics/Rio 2016, and during excavation, it was found several items (like sneakers and such) buried there, memories forgotten and lost by many. So, some smart ass decided to sell pieces of the land for suckers – just a real idiot would pay an extortionate amount of money for something like “mud of 1985” (it rained a lot).

I bought it. C'mon people, I was there! 😀

How did you like Royal Blood? They're one of my favorite new bands. Saw them live earlier this year in a small club.

It does mean that I was young and very stupid. I went to Rock in Rio to see Brazilian singer Queen of Rock Rita Lee and... Rod Stewart. It was Ozzy night, too, but I didn't like him back them. Queen had an iconic performance, one that put Brazil on the spot for rock concerts and till today is remembered for its greatness.

I saw Rod Stewart (and Elton John) on TV past Sunday, and boy, they were boring... even Rod, who I used to like so much, I really didn't get upset for not being there (I was still in Rio).
