OK, i'm a bit late with this so forgive me🙂

Angel and Buffy's relationship is threatened by a dark secret he has been hiding from her. And when that secret puts the life of someone close to Buffy in danger, she must make a choice.

So Buffy, do you think you and Angel will be getting together anytime soon? I mean, you did kiss at the end of this episode, and in the middle! I bet you could work past the whole vampire thing somehow, being that he's a good vampire. I mean, you're so lucky you have a guy who likes you! You should be seizing the moment! If...you-know-who, liked me the way Angel likes you, I'd be floating on air for every moment! Is that what it feels like? It must feel amazing like that!

You can't help who you fall in love with. I never expected to fall in love with anyone, never mind the Slayer!
But, from the moment I saw her, one bright afternoon in front of her school, I knew she was my soul mate. I wanted to help her...no, I wanted to protect her. I know what's in this world, I know what the monsters want. I was one of the monsters, remember? For over a hundred years I murdered and destroyed, tearing familes apart, just for the fun on it. You think I wanted Buffy to go through that?
 
I think obviously Buffy can protect herself. You know, we not-so-buff people need protecting too Angel!

I can protect you cordy?!?

Gah... All the girls want him protecting them, just cuz he has the steely gaze and mysterious aura, I could have a mysterious Aura, go on try and guess what I'm thinking right now!!

Maybe I should get a long black coat, and start being all cryptic!

No matter how much i tried not to, I was drawn in.. I had never felt this way towards anyone before. I didnt know how he felt about me. But I felt as though he was hiding something I couldnt quite lay my finger on. His touch, that kiss, it was the moment it turned from a crush to something else.. I wouldnt quite call it love.. but it was something. What changed though was I found out Angels secret. He was a vampire... I mean .. hes an enemy right?... I shouldnt be flirting and kissing with vampires.. I should be sticking a wooden stake through their hearts... what was I to do, the one thing I had to do!

Xander, it's pretty obvious what you're thinking about all the time. Scantily clad women of course!
 
Angel

Can we NOT talk about you and Cordelia, Xander? I thought this was supposed to be about what happened between me and Buffy? You wanna step in to my shoes, Xander? Is that it? Fine, you be the vampire with a soul and find out how hard it is trying to live in this world when you know you're not a part of it. But you don't belong to the other world, either. Falling for the Slayer hasn't exactly helped with the whole 'fitting in' thing.

Thanks guys, I'll just protect myself. Yup, cause you know, Buffy can protect herself with her superpowers, and Cordelia's got two guys fighting to protect her, but you know, I've apparently got these newfound powers of invisibility.

Willow, I do not want to protect Cordelia. At this point, I don't even know Cordelia. When did this become the Cordelia show?
