Okay, Season begins with Buffy "missing the sex." Xander, minus more than a few pounds, seems to be taking his frustrations out on a punching bag in the castle gym. Willow and Kennedy have split up on a more or less trial basis. Faith refers to Wood as her "ex." The only person so far to have had any sexual release is Dawn, and that was sometime before the first issue, and with disastrous results (what is it with Summers women and their first times).

Does anyone think that any of our leading characters will ever manage to get their sexual tensions relieved this season, or will they all end up single and frustrated?
 
I doubt that all the characters will end up alone. No wait, this is still a Whedon-run circus. They'll most likely end up alone, but I suppose to make the aloneness more painful, some characters will probably enjoy a little bit of romance this season.

You forgot to add two of the new characters. Satsu loves Buffy; weird, but oh well. And Renee seems to like Xander. I'm thinking that if anyone has a shot at getting lucky it's Xandman. The thing with Renee looks really promising and there's always that small but distinct possibility that he somehow winds up with Buffy. Other than that, I think pretty much all other possibilities we've been presented with so far are doomed.
 
We Think Satsu loves Buffy. It may not turn out to be her.
I think there will be some romance. Atleast I hope.
 
I thought that Scott Allie all but confirmed Satsu's Buffy crush in the letters section of #7 - like he was surprised it was still a question. Did I dream that?
 
I mean I wouldn't be surprised if Satsu loves Buffy after all their are 500 hundred slayers working for them it's VERY unrealistic to think that there aren't a couple of lesbians in that troop. I personally think Xander should have a one night stand with some guy at the local bar lol and then go to Renee after that one night stand. Kind of like Angel and Spike. Afterall Joss didn't know if he wanted to make Willow or Xander gay.
 
i'm thinking it'll probably be Xander who gets the lovin'. but i'm still not 100% convinced that it'll be Renee.

something's telling me that he might decide to make a go of things with the young Slayer, but the way things have been written lately, he might find that he old feelings for a certain older Slayer aren't as unrequited as they once were, and he'll have to choose between them.

i know i said a while ago that i wouldn't be happy with a Buffy/Xander ship, but the more i think about it, the more i can see it happening.
 
I could possibly see a Buffy/Xander thing as well cause look at Angel and Cordelia they fell in love basically because they were both champions and fought on the side of good against evil and carumshin (don't know how to spell it) but then again would Xander wouldn't be considered a champion would he? Xander should still have a one night stand with Andrew
 
hey, Xander's MY Champion, and really, that's all that matters.

and if i can't have my ideal ship anywhere other than inside my head, then i'm gonna go with the Buffy/Xander thing...and no, i'm not talking about Andrew.
 
Now, here's a great image: Xander goes out one night to a local Scottish bar and strikes up a conversation with some hot chick. More than a few highland ales late, he stumbles home with her, they share a night of fierce passion. The next morning he wakes up in bed with, not the hot chick, but a very definitely male bed mate. It turns out that the guy is the girl from the night before, a shape shifting demon {you know Xander's luck at attracting demon women, so that fits right in, with a little comedic embarrassment tossed in). imagine ol' One Eye being stalked by a demon by a love struck demon who can be anyone it wants to be, regardless of gender. Now THAT would be a romance worth watching.

That's true about Angel and Cordelia. Who would have ever thought way back in BtVS season 1 that they would fall in love with each other. I think Xander and Buffy would be a good idea now.
 
I think Faith and Xander would be good together, I'd like to see them hook up again!

Yeah, Faith and Xander would be good, as well as consistant, giving his record with demons and supernatural beings. Even Cordy wound up being a Higher Being later.
