As to the name, there are two parts...

Sekhmet is the name of an Egyptian deity or goddess. It means The Powerful One. She is depicted as a woman with the head of a lion. She was a defender of the pharaoh in time of war - an ally to have around when the going gets tough.

2k1 is the year I first merged onto the information superhighway. Better late than never, right?
