So, Roswell fans, reveal yourselves! 😛

I got into this show late, and just finished Season 2 today!

My favorite characters are Isabel, Maria, and Kyle. I really don't like Max or Michael, but I like the Maria/Michael relationship. Liz is okay, as is Alex. I HATE Tess with a fiery passion. lol and Valenti is very cool, as well as Maria's mom!

Season 2 felt extremely different than Season 1... like, almost a different show.

Is Season 3 good?

Discuss!

I liked Roswell when it first came on, but it's been so long since I saw it I don't think I'd even remember the character's names...

It's been SO long since I watch Roswell, but I loved it, it was one of my favorite shows. I'd probably still count it in my top ten.

My favorite characters were Maria, Michael and Kyle. Maria and Michael were great as a couple, and I loved how Kyle fitted himself into the gang, found a place for himself.

I HATED Isabel, she really annoyed me with all her self-importance, and S3 only made it worse. She was supposed to be the same age as Max and Michael, but she acted so much older, and I don't know if that was just Kathrine Heigl, or if it had something to do with Vilandra's original personality.

S3 is probably my favorite season, despite Isabel, and the finale episode always makes me cry, no matter how many times I watch it. Awesome.

Buffy, Angel and Roswell. These three shows were the crux of my teenage years!

I loved the show but the quality of season one NEVER was repeated. I loved Maria and Michael, I thought they were hilarious/crazy/cute.

I really liked Max/Liz while the show was on but now that I look back I'm kinda indifferent to them.

I actually like Isabel, that may be because KH plays Izzie on Grey's and the characters have alot in common, not just their names. Although Lyr, I do think you have a point with the Vilandra thing, I think it did have an effect on her personality.

oh wow Roswell, yeah I remember when that was on. I really liked Michael, Maria and Kyle I remember. I hated that blonde girl who was meant for Max. Max and Isabel I mostly tolerated.
I really enjoyed the show back then but I wonder if I would now, perhaps one should check out the dvds that are out there 😀

Roswell was a great show, especially the first season.

Loved Liz. I think they should have continued to tell the story through her diary entries.
Shiri Appleby also quickly became one of my favorite actresses.

No, didn't even knew she had a new show. Will check it out. Thanks.

A quick research tells me the show is called Life Unexpected though...

LOL FAIL! my bad! It's a nice little show though, something you could unwind while watching.

ACK! I forgot about that show! I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Good show! Another one I obsessed over, quite like I do over Buffy now (joined a fan board just to talk about it--wrote fanfiction every second I could). Looking back, though, the goodness of the show really ends at S1, in my opinion. Loved Max and Liz and Maria and Michael. Was pretty indifferent to Alex and Isabel, though they were cute.

My favourite episode is in season two (the one where Future!Max comes? I can't remember the name) but I agree, they seemed to run out of all ideas after season one and relied far too heavily on the Max/Liz relationship.

Ooooh, I did like that! (End of the World, by the way--which it was for us Max/Liz fans) but I disliked that he was just another object to keep ML apart and create more couple drama.

When the show was on I thought we would NEVER get Max and Liz together! It used to kill me! That's what I mean when it relied to heavily on their romance, anytime ANYTHING happened the concern was nearly always how it affected Max/Liz and not how it affected the show itself.

Agree completely. Gotta admit though, the moment he saves her and then begs her not to say anything is probably the best scene in the series. But yeah, they let the couple stuff bog down everything else. You have a show about aliens and you can't think of anything better than high school drama?

I really like them together and think the whole show would have been served better if they had actually been allowed be together, it would have taken mountains of useless angst away from the show and focus on the truly interesting stuff like, their past lives, saving their race etc.
