The more a drunkard falls over whilst fighting the quicker and more outraged they become. Falling over would be a benefit and not a drawback.

He may not make much of an impact but he gets back on his feet quickly!

That dog is very very friendly to put up with that.😀

Doyle also has visions that could be helpful. Xander only has human strength. I've never seen Angel but it's not about who you like more.

Don't think I'd want Doyle to get a vision during battle though because the would be bad.

And Xander was too needy. Or at least I thought so.

Yep that was Xander embarrassing him self again.

I agree. Xander was his own biggest fan 😀

Wait a minute! I always thought Xander was Xander's biggest fan. You are clearly the second biggest.

Really? With all that self-loathing? All that insecurity? The lack of confidence? Xander is his own worst enemy.

Xander: I'm just ... another great humiliation. But this time it's even worse. This demon, he's like taking my life, and everyone's treating him ... Everyone's treating him like a grown-up! Will, I'm starting to feel like... like ... he's doing everything better. He's smarter, and ... (shakes head) I don't know, maybe I should just let him have it. Take my life, please.

If there's a character who was his own biggest fan, I'd say Spike before the chip. Xander always hated himself and wished he was someone better.

Priceless: Xander had major self-esteem issues, his whole character is built on them

Yes! A lot of Xander's bad choices were made due to insecurities and jealousy and extreme lack of confidence. I'd say Pink's "Don't Let Me Get Me" was written for Xander.

I would go with Xander. He's a decent fighter for a non-powered character, has lots of battle experience and the soldier knowledge he inherited.

You've made me think of Jackie Chan's Drunken Master now...not sure that there is much falling down in it, but I think he could give both Doyle and Xander a run for their money 🙂
