Jasmine. 😡

I loathe Jasmine, I loathe the whole Jasmine 'happy-clappy, you-destroy-me-you-destroy-world-peace, pod people crap.'- Lousy bad guy, Lousy way to end a season.
Also destroyed Cordelia and Connor in the process and I've supposed to sympathise with her.

Ugh. 🙁


Love Gina Torres though, but she'll always be Zoe. 🙂

Because of Jasmine we lost a whole season of Cordelia. Even though it's not Cordelia, I couldn't stand how Jasmine ruined everything, the idea of it all.

I loved Glory, she was fun, fantastic, fabulous and brutal.

Jasmine was...ugh. The First Slayer wasn't great, but Jasmine was a lousy Big Bad.

The First Slayer I was a bit meh about.." Death is your gift" but I loved Glory. She was such a good bad ass
and so Jasmine was my least favourite. Was glad to eliminate her.

Jasmine could have been the greatest villain ever, if it had been a season-long story arc. It follows the Biblical description of the Antichrist quite closely. This will be an attractive person with a strong following who will appear to promote peace and harmony and will do the things that most people would like to see done and promote prosperity, but at a cost of lives and souls. This is a person who will demand that people worship him (or her in this case) like a god.

But Joss was so hell-bent on punishing Charisma Carpenter that it got distorted into something uglier and less illuminating than it should have been.
