they are soulmates, but mayor wilkins was right. it just wouldnt work in the long run. even ang knew it, and deep down i think buffy knows it too.

it'd be pretty lame for them to have to be able to only go out at night. buffy would be the one to have to work, so she works in the day, sleeps at night, while ang sleeps in the day, and does who knows what at night.

i wish it could work though, you could see in "chosen" how good they are together.......

I want them to be together in the end since Angel will probably be human but I always want them to be together
 
We're talking about a vampire here. With all the new Slayers out there Buffy finally has a chance for a relatively normal life, she won't get that dating a vampire. Both Angel and Spike are immortal and have a slight problem with sunlight and bursting into flames. I think Buffy needs to find a nice normal guy, settle down and have a few kids. Besides, when Angel and Spike were with Buffy it seemed to detract from them. Angel is a much better character now that he is in L.A. and Spike was better when he and Dru were raising heck in season two. For some reason the people who date Buffy seem to turn into losers when they're with her.

No Angel. No Spike. No Riley (sure he's not a vampire, but the character just sucked). I want her to find someone else... maybe Xander, they're both unattached right now. Buffy may not have had feeling for him before, but if Willow can go from being so in love with Oz to a lesbian as quickly as she did then I think Buffy and Xander might have a chance. Willow shows us that in the Buffyverse a total change of heart in record time is entirely possible.
 
while Happy makes some good points, I still have to go with Buffy and Angel together again. Buffy would be bored with normal so I dont think it could work out. Besides I still think her one and only true love is Angel
 
I'm with Happy on this.

Besides, now that the Buffster is laregly out of the picture, I'm more concerned about Angel and Spike being independent and cool now..
 
No I am just dead sick about their relationship, just let each of them move on - Buffy shouldn't move to Spike and Angel shouldn't move to Cordy. But they should get someone else 😛
 
I think that Buffy eblongs with someone who can give her what she wants, and NOT be a vampire. Falling for vampires is definately one of Buffy's major down-points when it comes to her love life. In the beginning, I thought Riley was perfect for Buffy, but he too let her down, although, I think if he hadn't gotten married, Buffy and Riley still could've made a wonderful couple.
 
While Buffy and Angel had a good, genuine, interesting relationship in seasons 1 - 3, it is OVER and should stay that way! I don't believe they're soulmates or anything... yes, they will always have love for each other, but they've both moved on as they should!
 
Buffy is still young enough to have a number of relationships before she finds "the one". She could could go on normal dates and abnormal ones if she wishes... I do like Angel and her together but I think she needs to be relatively normal for a while.
 
I used to be all against it, but I'm open to the posibility now ... though I still like the thought of her and Xander better!
 
I have never really been a big fan of them but since they were together in 'Chosen' I kinda liked them!!! They will never be better than Spuffy though! So on the poll, I voted dont know!!!
