Ruffy (Riley/Buffy) Most Hated Ship?

Just move to Texas. We have lots of Riley's here. :P
Willow & Kennedy and Fred & Gunn were much worse. The first pair because Kennedy was annoying as heck, and the second couple had zero chemistry.
 
Lol, I only clicked the thread to say Mihihihihihi RUFFY. That's funny. But this is a interesting topic too, so now I wanna do more. 🙂

I think Killow is the most hated ship in general, but for me I think Briley is way worse. I don't hate Riley, but I think him and Buffy were horrible together. They expected very different things from each other. I was the one yelling DON'T LOOK DOOWN when Riley left. 😀 as for Killow - never got the hate. I prefered Willow with Tara (or Oz), but I think Kennedy was sweet to Willlow and I never saw her as that spoiled, I liked that she stuck up for what she believed in even though she was "only" a potential.

When the show originally aired because I was such a Bangel fan I absolutley hated the Buffy/Riley relationship, but when I re-watch season 4 I find that I dont mind the relationship so much.
 
Was Briley hated because most of the haters were Bangel shippers? I wasn't a Bangle shipper and I still hate Briley.

I'm not big on the Bangel (not against it though), but I still disliked Briley. For me it wasnt about that another ship was better. I just didn't think they fit together. They treated each other bad, and I think Riley was crazy stupid at the end. 😀
 
I love me some Riley. And I really like Ruffy for what it was.

I don't actually have feelings on Killow one way or another. I didn't like Kennedy at all, but I don't care about Willow enough to mind her and Kennedy being together.

So, I don't think either is the most hated. Nor do I think either of them will win the Ship of the Year Award, anytime soon.

Yeah, I agree in general. I also kind of started to appreciate Riley (and Briley) even more after S8 Riley stand-alone.
Just wanted to say that I do appreciate me some Willow - and Kennedy/Killow used to annoy the heck out of me. Until the comic season - Kennedy died, yeah mystically and temporarily but still - because of Willow's need and then Willow went and hooked up with a giant snake demon... That put a stopper on my dislike of Kennedy... just before Willow dumped her. Speak of inverted tropes and the like.
 
Personally, I like Riley alot. I love how good he was to Buffy, and he is just a flat-out nice guy. So yeah, I really like Briley. I guess Killow would be the worst.
