Look at "Frequently Bought Together"
those are Volume 2 and 3.

Now all you need is Joss Whedon's run.
Which is this.

Interview with new Runaways writer Kathyrn Immonen. She's a fan from the beginning, so I'm hopeful. 🙂

"The strength of the Runaways for me is absolutely in their interaction," she reveals. "It was incredible; smart and funny, clever and twisty and, of course, totally heartbreaking. They're at their best, so to speak, not when they're punching villains but when they're helplessly pounding away at each other. When I sit down most every morning with this book, I'm remembering what it was like to be in high school, to be 16 or whatever."

Liking the artwork. 🙂

I just read Dead End Kids. I hadn't read any of the prior Runaway comics before. I thought it was pretty good, though not mindblowing. In fact, I think I liked the art more than the story or writing.

^^ You should go back and read Brian K. Vaughan's original run. A lot more engaging than the Joss story.

I've been hearing really good things about Kathyrn Immonen's Patsy Walker: Hellcat series...some people even describing her version of Patsy as a "sassy" Buffy-like character.

I'm halfway through the first volume and i'm pretty much addicted, im going to go to bed early tonight so i can try and finish it. I dont know why im trying to read it all either, i cant get the other volumes for a few months so i'll probably end up reading this one over and over and over and over....

Anyway, its pretty good so far. Thanks for recommending this!

So i finally finished it.

Awesome read, really, really good.

I just can't believe who the REAL bad guy was.... What a twist.

I would talk about it in more detail but i dont know how to put the spoiler tags in.

Just for future reference, you add spoiler tags by saying
[/ spoiler]. 🙂

But I'm glad to hear you liked it! Yeah, the whole thing with
Alex being the bad guy
really caught me off-guard, too. Plus, how awesome are Molly and Gert?

Since you enjoyed it, once you've finished Runaways, I'd recommend checking out Y: The Last Man. It's from Brian K. Vaughan (the writer of Runaways), so it has his writing style, but it's much more adult and, in my opinion, far superior. And I swear nothing I've ever read has made me cry as much as the last volume (although a certain issue of Runaways certainly brought the waterworks, too...I won't give anything away, though 😀).

Cool thanks!

i still couldnt believe that Alex was the bad guy, its a shame, he was actually one of my favourite characters.

My Favs are either alex, chase or nico. And Molly's pretty cool as well.

Well actually, theyre all good!

Yes i've heard about Y: the last man and have been recommended it before, looks like i'll have to get it!
