I loved this episode. My favorite part was probably towards the end when Willow asked Xander if while Buffy was the Vampire, if he still had a thing for her...

Willow: Personal question
Xander: Yeah, shoot
Willow: When Buffy was a vampire, you weren't still, like attracted to her, were you?
Xander: Willow how could you? I mean that's really bench! It was grotesk.
Willow: Still dug her, huh?
Xander: I'm sick I need help.
Willow: Don't I know it.

That part cracks me up! I love the episode, thought it was pretty good all together.
 
Yeah, or when Xander gets chased by the clown from his 6th grade b-day party. Then in the end he punches the clown down and tells him he was a terrible clown. That was kinda funny.
 
I think this was a very creative episode, much like Restless. I give it two thumbs up.
 
That's probably one of my fave episodes of season one. Just because it was so groovy. I love this episode... I may just have to re-watch it while I still can.
 
This episdode and Prohecy Girl and 2 of the best in season 1. Willows nightmare was horrble, I felt so bad for her!! And as for Xanders clown fear, I'm no very freaked by them.
 
This is one of my favorite season 1 episodes....Although I actually screamed when the clown came on, I am so deathly afraid of clowns it's pathetic..ok I have to stop talking abut them....::shudders::....

This was one of the best of S1, I have a obsession with Clowns these days, do not know why at all.
 
I thought this episode was ok. I was really scared at the clown part (I hate clowns!) and I loved it when Xander punched the clown in the face. All the nightmares seemed to fit really well with the person, like Giles not being able to read. It was a good episode.
 
I loved that episode!
And now I'm getting annoyed cos I gave the s1 dvd back to the person I borrowed it from...And I can't remember what Willow's nightmare was...That's how it goes when you try to think early in the morning, it just goes further and further away! Can anyone tell me?
And the clown thing was great! I have never been scared of clowns before, but that one was pretty scary!

Xander gives the line: I'm sorry! I'm unruffled by spiders. Now, if a bunch of Nazis
crawled all over my face...

and later on when he's in the gym area (when he first finds the candy bars) there's a swastika grafitied on one of the walls behind him.
i just thought that was kind of neat (and i was all proud of noticeing it)

I noticed the swastika, but not his comment...Hmm...Oh well, I guess I'll have to borrow the season again, or buy it, so I can see it! Yay! lol
 
The swatztica was the first thing i noticed. I figured that it was pretty much inevitable to not notice it.
 
Im not sure what I thought about Nightmares. What I dont understand is why Buffy didnt go soul less when she became a vampie thingie.... Any ideas?

I think it was fun when Xander got chased by the clown and Willow started laughing when he told her and she told Buffy: "You just had to be there."
 
Maybe because it was her nightmare..She was a vampire,felt the blood hunger and she still had a soul?? But overall very good ep🙂
