I voted Angel season 1, because it had great episode like IWRY and Hero.

S1 of Angel, it had IMO better episodes than S1 of Buffy.

Season 1-there wasn't so much to establish thanks to Angel and Cordy's past on Buffy, so they jumped right into the good stuff.

Kind of hard for me since Buffy S1 only had 12 episodes so it couldnt do that much like AngelS1 could.

I liked both of them equally but I dont know which one to go with.

Bs1 was the start of it all, but they were all not used to their roles, they still had to grow into it. The stories were a bit weak, and the characters didn't have much depth.

In As1 though, everyone already knew who he was and the stories were much greater. And then there was a kick-ass big bad, the ever so evil law firm. And did I mention Faith!

Buffy Season 1! Except for IWRY, Angel Season 1 just didn't do it for me. I almost didn't bother to watch Angel season 2 (but I'm very glad I did...I thought it was so much better).

BtVS Season 1 certainly isn't the best Buffy season, but the core characters were all there and I loved their dynamics from the get-go.

Angel S1! Everyweek it had honest-to-good episode that had good stuff in it. It also had some great episodes, like IWRY and 5/5. Buffy's episode were just okay, not that great and the characters weren't perfected yet. The dialogue was top-notch, though.

I loved S1 of Angel, it was my favourite season, I think it was at a time where TV shows were starting to get good but then it just started so htey didnt run outta storylines! 3/4 of people say so 🙂

Angel season 1. buffy season 1 was the worst, (partially for the small ammount of eps) but it just wasn't as itneresting. Angel season 1 set the tone immidiately, and it was good from the getgo. Buffy season 1 was shaky and looking for stable ground.

It was hard... they both kinda were not very entertaining.... but i've got too much buffy-blood in my veins.
