New UK Convention - June 2003

S3 Events, another newcomer in the UK convention market, have announced James Marsters as their 3rd and presumably main guest at their following Harvest convention:

Taking place 20-22 June 2003 at The Paragon Hotel, London

James Marsters will be joining:

Bailey Chase (Graham, Buffy season 4)
James Charles Leary (Clem, Buffy season 6)

But Peggy... I'm still debating on whether or not to get a ticket for end of days... only live in manchester wouldn't cost much to get to blackpool....

I can't afford too... already met JM... he's skinny... although I do need Baileys autograph on me wall of fame...

I'll give you a HUGE kick then .... I need to stress now that End of Days has already sold 1000 tickets ... so if you are half considering going then I would decide sooner rather than later - cause once it starts getting advertised in the scifi mags when the guests are announced then it'll sell faster 😀


And as an aside - I can't afford to even think about any new events at the moment - if I have any spare cash later in the year and nothing else has been decided then I *may* consider going to a new one. But as I've seen James a couple of times already, I'd rather not spend out on him as a main guest again right now.

Hi Guys,
Iv seen mentioned on the board an event called End of Days.
This is new to me so can someone please give me any details of it such as when and where?
Sorry if the details have already been posted before but im new to all this!

Other guests for the S3 Events Harvest convention (which is what this thread was about 😉 ) are:

Jeff Mariotte and his wife Maryelizabeth Hart who will both be making their first UK convention appearance. Buffy fans will know Jeff for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Xander Years, vol. 2, Angel: Close to the Ground, Angel: Hollywood Noir, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel: Unseen Book Three"”Long Way Home, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel: Unseen Book Two"”Door to Alternity and many more.

As there is a price increase (quote taken from the S3Events Message Board )

On August 31st ticket prices will increase by £6 to £86 (there is a reason for the odd figure). I do know that this is a lot more than most cons that range from the £65-£75 mark but to keep numbers down and to book main cast members it has to be around this price otherwise I'd need 3000+ attendees to charge £65 a ticket.

Onto the number of attendees (this isn't finalised but should be by November) there will be around 1200. This number may go up a little but if it can be pulled off I want it to go down. At the moment I'm just waiting to hear the finalised appearance fees of 3 cast members and once I know I'll be able to let you know the final number of attendees.
