not this past friday, but the friday before that, there was a car acident, and a young woman and a young man died, the guy was a former frind of my BoyF, and today was his funeral! i have never met the guy, but i just went as moral suport! but the was the clergyman talked about him, and the letter to the guy from his mother, well, he seemed like a VERY nice person, and when his girlF came up and read a letter to him as well... he was 19 years old...

there were 200-300 people there...

it's so sad when people die so young!! it's just such a shame! to loose someone, when they have just begun living life! He had told his mother before he died(a day before i think) that he was really happy with his life, and he was really looking forward to the time a head...

Awww thats sad.
Especially when people die in accidents, its not right. 🙁
It shouldnt happen, but unfortunately, it does....

yeah!! i think everyone should die in bed, by old age... after having a long HAPPY life! his grilf was real brave! i would NEVER have been able to even stand up if i lost me little sweety!! i would not have been able to walk up there an read all these feelings out load, knowing that i would never see him again(knock on wood!!!!) it's just such a same when young people are ripped away!

My friend died in a car accident about 3 years ago, he was only 17. It's hard when you lose anyone but it's especially hard when their young. So, my deepest simpathy (sp?) with you, your boyfriend and the lads family.

yeah, while you have life, live it to the fullest! do thing that you wnat to do, and don't look back in anger! and regret! cos every day is a gift! i'm sorry about you friend jules...!🙁

My friend died in a car accident last fall. The sad thing is if she hadn't had so many concussions before from volleyball, she wouldn't have died.

It's awful when you start thinking about all the 'what if's'. You end up sending yourself crazy. What's done is done and nothing is gonna change that (that sounds really depressing I know) Sorry about your friend grrarrg 🙁

my friends brother died of a drug overdose and he was 17 when he died, It is sad when young people die I know. They didnt even have a chance in life.....Death is my worst fear!

I must be extremely messed up! I've lost 2 family members and only 1 Ive been close to. I didn't cry for either one. In fact I don't feel anything. Everyone keeps telling me one day it'll hit me. well what does this mean? I understand they're gone and...I miss them but I don't feel anything else.

Personally I wanna die saving someones life or something. I don't wanna be really old thinking about how much time I have left and when I;m gonna go. I at least hope I die past 25.

At this point i think most of the people I know except for myself have been in car accidents some serious others not so. I've also lost a friend in one as well so I also understand how sad it can be. I just found out about 2 weeks ago about a friend of mine whose whole future has been ruined by one over the summer. Its very sad and I hope that you'll all get through it and learn something from it 🙂

that is soo sad. I'm sorry about that.
It's terrible when young people die, especcialy in accidents and things so suddenly. At the place where i go over the summer kinda like a resort/camp kinda thing, one of the people who worked there was killed, he was hit by a car. There was a memorial serivice in the auditorim and the whole place was full, even though i'd never met him it was still really sad

when i was in 5th grade this boy who was in ECE was hit by a car right in front of our school and lots of people saw it mostly kids, it was horible i didnt see thank god but just seeing somone die in front of your eyes could be kinda tough.....oh I would never get over it.

When I was nine, I went to Vietnam for my summer vacation. My sister was driving me home from my swimming lessons. In Vietnam, most people drive on motorcycles. There were these two women riding on one and they started driving through the red light since no one was crossing the road (the lights are arranged to change in a certain number of seconds whether or not there's anyone driving on the other side), they just kept crossing the road. At the same time, a van was driving by and the two vehicles collided. The woman in the back managed to jump off the motorcycle without getting hurt. The woman in the front, however, wasn't so lucky. The van hit her and kept on going without turning back. She was on the ground and bleeding badly. It was the most horrible thing I had ever seen. I never knew what happened to her after, though...

maybe you grieve differently to everyone else...I'm the same, I don't think i've ever cried over someone before and I've lost a lot of people that I've been really close to.

I lost a best friend when I was 10 years old, it wasn't a car accident, she passed away from cancer. I have no idea how I managed to go on at such a young age. My parents told me I believed she was an angel, so it didn't really affect me.

i'm sorry about all you friend and best friends!!

last year, in may, my big brother got stupid and he tok our little brother who is now 18 for a drive, both of'em was drunk, and my big brother he drove REALLY fast and hit a tree then a cable box.. the car was smashed!! they were acually okay, both of'em, lil bro just had to sdo some stiches in the head and in one of his wrists!
Now my big brother doesn't drink andymore(which is a very good thing) and his been sober scince 2weeks after the accident!

this year a friend of my lil bro and i stole his dads vererant cab car out for a drive, with his best friend! and he was drunk, they crashed the car and landed on the head, the best friend was okay, not a scrats on him, but the guy driving he broke some ribs, had enternal bleedings, punktured a lung, and couldn't speak for a month + he had to be on a respirator.. do you think this guy never drank again?? no...

these three guys that where okay had angel watch... or something... i just wish everyone was that lucky!

Zander8472: i don't think that you're messed up. like drusilla said, you just grive differently! some people cry, and some people don't!!

I lost an a friend about 3 years ago in a car accident. She was on her way to college. It was wierd, because at first I didn't really feel one way or another about it. I mean, we had worked together at school on some projects, and she was nice, but we never really got to know each other THAT well. And then, the school held a memorial in her honor and I totally broke down! I don't know where it came from, but suddenly the sadness of the situation hit me at full force, and I was a mess for days. So, yes, everybody does grieve differently. Death is a strange thing to deal with and everybody reacts differently. Some ways are more usual than others (i.e. crying) but no way is wrong.

My high school had this weird thing where every time a new year started 2 boys and 2 girls died. It always happened like that. Sometimes they were alumni, but still it was pretty creepy.
