alright i just got through re-watching salvage and remember when angelus found out a slayer was in town so he called dawn to see if it was buffy. okay when he sighed and said its the other one was he disappointed it wasn't buffy or was he relieved it wasn't buffy because last time they fought buffy won i was just wondering what you guys thought about it.

I saw annoyance, because he knew how to fight Buffy. Faith had never met Angelus. He might know something of her based on Angel's memories (I never was clear on just how much of that crossed over), but he himself had never gone head-to-head with her. He was at a slight disadvantage due to not knowing much about Faith or her fighting style.

I think he was disappointed because he was looking forward to fighting and killing Buffy. She did send him to hell so...

Angel and Angelus are the same person so they have all the same memories, they just look at the world differently.

Not exactly. The whole reason they brought Angelus back was because he remembered stuff Angel didn't about the Beast.

Angel and Angelus are two different people in my opinion. I think Angel is capable of darkness that has nothing to do with Angelus and I think Angelus can be less evil than one would assume. Althousgh they share many or most of the same memories they are not the same not really.

I think that was a special circumstance. Other then that one instance Angel remembered every single thing he did as Angelus. It is safe to assume Angelus would remember everything Angel did.
