Same Time, Same Place

Dark Willow wouldn't try to hide though. She would probably come right after them, or go and try to destroy the world again. She wouldn't be avoiding Buffy and Xander the way Willow did with the spell. Hell, the plane probably would have been full of dead people if Dark Willow was back.

Dark Willow was not serial killer on rampage. She was same Willow as normally, just without (or greatly reduced) moral restraints. Main reason why Willow was suspected was the fact the victim was also skinned alive, something they at that point had seen only once.

Willow did not go to Anya before trying to reach Buffy and Xander, she went after she failed to find them. For her Anya opinion of her probably was just a fraction of importance compared to Buffy and Xander opinion.

This episode was really great.
There's not a lot of things that creep me out in BtVS but the Gnarl was damn creepy.
It's just when he starts peeling off her skin...eugh, makes my skin crawl.

One of my favorite Season 7 episode, really good concept and Gnarl is one of the creepiest/greatest creations in the show.

I felt so bad for Willow. when she thought Buffy and Xander had left her to die.

Also agree, the Gnarl was very nasty looking and creepy.

especially how it was taunting Willow and eatin slivers of her skin.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Gnarl, that skin-eating demon, really creeps me out.
One of the creepiest episodes of season seven.

Am I right?

Definitely! - Gnarl creeped me out way worse than The Gentlemen. ICK! But I loved that character... especially the way he did that little sing-song rhymey thing. 😀

I think the Gnarl was the creepiest of all the monsters in the series. What's another one that creeped you out? The Gentlemen for me.

Another one for me, was the monster from "Gingerbread." Too bad Buffy took him down too easily.
