:: putting her coffee down on an empty table, she slides out a chair and sits down. Hearing the door open she looks up to see Xander enter the bronze ::

Xander: "Hey Xand"

Xander

:: smiling as he see's Buffy he makes a small wave ::

Buffy: "Hey Buff. Hows things?"

Buffy

Buffy: "Not bad, just taking a break from the study thing"

:: pausing slightly ::

Xander:" Want to join me?"

Xander

:: pulling out a chair he sits down across from Buffy ::

Please note that in the actual RPG you cannot post as another character, this is merely an example

How to format your Posts:

1. Make sure it is clear who your character is speaking to. Either (a) type the character you're talking to and then a colon, followed by your dialogue. So if I'm Angel, and speaking to Buffy:

Buffy: "We need to talk Buffy

or (b)make sure it is clear in the action.

:: Angel walks up to Buffy and looks her in the eye ::

"We need to talk"

2. Put dialogue in quotes.

3. Put thoughts in parenthesis.

4. Use :: :: for actions your character is doing. (See above example.)

5. Use [ ] to for actions your character is not doing.

[the clock strikes midnight]

[Buffy reaches for her stake]

NOTE: The above examples are 'quoted' to set them off from the other text - do not use the [ quote][/quote] tags when you're actually posting in the RPG 🙂
