Sarah's dates (before FPJ, of course)

And I was looking at SMG's page, and it says that She dated JM in 1997, and DB in '98-'99. Now I'm asking you. I didn't know she dated David, I thought it was just rumors. But I was even more surprised to see James as one of Sarah's dates. Can someone clear this up for me? Because I keep hearing rumors about Sarah and James (I can expand on that). I would love it if were true, because I want Sarah to be with James and not Freddie. But putting it aside... did something actually happen between Sarah and James, and Sarah and David?

I've never heard the James rumours but the David ones were rampant for awhile. The dates though seem very off. David didn't get divorced from Ingrid Quinn until 1999 so how could he be with Sarah in 98? I don't think they had an affair.

I doubt she dated James espically since this is the first time a lot of us have heard anything about it. And both she and David have denied dating each other (though they always looked very friendly with one another outisde of work whenever they were together at some event).

I have heard as well that James dated Sarah, like way back during season three. Interesting, eh? What a nice couple they make 🙂 It's common for actors to date eachother, obviously - they spend so much time together! It's bounds to happen and does often 🙂

I want to see some proof before I believe the James/Sarah or David/Sarah rumors. I don't believe the media most of the time, and this just seems a bit far fetched. Although I'd like it to be true. I think both of those real life couples would be cute ones. Especially David and Sarah.

Okay, I have heard about the Sarah/David rumours and I think they really dated.

About James and Sarah I've never heard before. But honestly, I hope it's not true. Nice couple on screen and blabla aside, let's just consider she was around 19/20 while he was already mid thirty. Am I the onl one bothered by that? I'm sory, but I think that's just an awkward age gap.

I think they are all just rumours...

I remember the stories about David and Sarah at the time season 2 was airing, one saying that David had left his (first) wife for her but they were all false, just hollywood gossip and/or tv studio spin concocted to add allure to the on-screen relationship. I've never heard that James and Sarah were romantically linked before.

It will make you suspicious about Sarah and David being in a relationship or not. They always seemed overly cozy with one another in public.

And Sarah and James is just hard to believe since there isnt any evidence that the two even saw each other outside of the set.

But also remember that papparazzi werent that big during the 90s as they are nowadays.

Those pics look like pretty decent proof of an offscreen relationship... they're full on kissing in one of them! I have always heard that they dated briefly. James though, I'm pretty sure thats untrue... I check in with a James yahoo group everyonce in a while... these girls are freakishly in the know about like every detail of his life and they all agree that the James Sarah thing was just rumor. As to who James is dating now, that yahoo group is still linking him to this girl (although its not fully 100% that they are still together):

Her name's Patty from Germany, they met in 2004 backstage at one of James' Ghost of the Robot shows... she was 18 at the time, he was 42! Its a tad creeptastic if you ask me, but whatev.

The Pap have been a very large part of famous life for decades and when Celebrity really started to be big news in the early 90's they became a menace.

By the time these 'couples' were together the paps were big money.

Anyway, I believe what the people say more than a picture, even if you do have one kissing.

If they say it wasn't happening, I go with them.
Ultimately though, I don't care if they dated or not as long as it doesn't/didn't affect my TV show which it didn't.

I guess Sarah and David kinda makes sense, for some reasons. About James, even if it's hard to believe, there are many things going on there that make it possible. They've never been seen together in public, but there is something that explains it - again rumor - it's been told that Sarah and James used to disappear from the set for hours and no one knew where they were. So maybe that's why you never see them in public. It might have been a secret.

And in this clip, the person that did it, brings some "proofs" that Sarah and James, even if they didn't date, they might have been into each other. And if you watch the dailies in Youtube, there is something in there, many people say they definitely had a thing. In Dead Things dailies, there is part where James whispers "Sarah" during... you know. And they seem very comfortable with each other in all these clips. too comfortable, too much chemistry. They might just be very good actors. But maybe it's more than just acting.

I don't know. All the things I read about them make me believe they, even if they didn't date, might actually have feelings for each other, beyond what they call "a brother-sister relationship". So it's all very weird.

You mean the paps that were in England? Not the US? They werent nearly as bad during the mid-late 90s as they are today. Britney Spears still could walk the streets without getting hounded by thousands of cameras in her face.

By Season6 they had already worked together for 4 years (and already had to make out with one another since S4), ofcourse they were comfy with one another. Plus she had been dating FPJ since S5. I think in their situation they just have natural chemistry with one another (but who doesnt have chemistry with James?). If you watch IWRY you can hear David whisper Sarah during their final goodbye scene in his apartment.

Well, in that link the shot of them kissing was NOT in a rehearsal type context... they are at the red carpet of some even it looks like. Not saying it couldn't have been staged, its always possible the photographers asked them to indulge them and kiss for the camera or something (it seems weird that they'd oblige IMO but maybe if they were both single they didn't see the harm in it...) but that shot definately was NOT them practicing their lines.
