Yeah, I agree! I rewatched lost recently *Well, the 2 first seasons anyway, after that I wanted too much to watch Buffy for the God-knows-how-many-times :tongue3🙂
But I did think that Sawyer was a little bit Lost's Spike!
Like you said, for his bad-boy-with-a-heart side, but also in other ways.
First of all, they are both delightful shirtless :cute:
Second, they are both hated by the rest of the characters, but at some point, they do their best to be accepted a bit (Yeah, Spikey, for someone who doesn't like the Scoobies, you spend a lot of time with them :rolleyes2🙂
They also can be of an unexpected heroism.
Like when Sawyer jumps of the Helicopter so that Hurley can stay in, and when Spike let Glory kick the godhell out of him because he won't tell her who the key is.
I also think that in a way, they are more sensible than other characters who are supposed to be "the 100% good ones". They can surprisingly understand an emotional situation better than the others.
Plus, they kind of have the same way of talking and thinking, you know?
Sawyer is my favourite character in Lost, so is Spike in Buffy, because they do have this kind of similitude!
