Question Say we got another season...

If you had your druthers, would you choose another televised season of Buffy, Angel, Firefly, or Dollhouse? Why? What would you liked to have seen happen?

Firefly. No question. Buffy and Angel were great but they both had pretty decent runs. Firefly was just beginning and had so much potential to go in any number of great directions. Dollhouse got a lot better once it was cancelled and while I'd have definitely taken another season of it, it can't win against Firefly.

And I won't say what I'd liked to have happened on Firefly because I don't know. I like to be surprised and I'm sure Joss and crew could have come up with something better than I could in this thread.

I chose Firefly. I think Buffy and Angel are just done. The comics are a nice way to drag us fans along, but as a televised show, I think their reign is over. Don't get me wrong, I'd be on those shows like white on rice if they were back, but I'd rather have Firefly. And I think Joss deliberately ended Dollhouse for good with Epitaph 2.

Anyway, I just don't think Firefly got the run it deserved (obviously). The movie was great and all, but the show got treated like trash. I just wish could have a better chance at a better run.

I LOVE Buffy, but I picked Angel.
Because it was canceled, I think some stuff got rushed in the end,
and I heard alot of rumors for what they were planning had it got picked up for a 6th season and I definitely would've liked to see it.

Don't watch Firefly or Dollhouse so I could care less.

Firefly gets my vote. Pre-Serenity, not a show after. Cult show in basically a dozen episodes. Such a shame it was cancelled.

As much as i like Buffy, i think it ended perfectly, so no need for another.

Dollhouse didn't impress consistently throughout it's run. Was lucky to get a 2nd season.

Haven't seen all Angel so can't comment on that yet.

Ok so I chose buffy. I love all the shows that were made an option. But Firefly had its movie..I liked dollhouse but it was not my fav...yah I would love a 6th season of Angel but if i had to chose one over the other I would definatly go with BTVS.

Yah Buffy did have a good end but it left so much open! I want to see them go though everything. I want to see what the difrance would have been if it had been T.V insted of comic.

My choice would be Firefly simply because there was so much more story there to tell, Buffy and Angel had had 7 years and 5 years, respectively, to tell their stories, but half a season barely scratched the surface of the "space cowboy" series.

Despite trying really hard to get into it Firefly is probably my least favoruite Whedon project so I have no real desire to see more. *ducks flying objects*

I picked Angel, as far as I am concerned we are getting a further season of Buffy with the comics but what came next on Angel I would have liked to have actually seen play out, while I loved NFA that is the episode that leaves me feeling like I'm missing out on what came next. I know we have ATF but there is such HUGE changes and twists it only furthers my desire to see it with the actual actors.

Yea i voted for Firefly too, it had so much potential. Buffy and Angel had their run. Dollhouse ended well too, even though i'm sad Dh got cancelled i don't think i would want another season. Probably because

There's a part of me that wanted to pick Dollhouse, still wounded from the cancellation. I really loved it. But, I voted Firefly because man... everytime i finish the DVDS i get so MAD that there isn't any more. Way too many plot lines left hanging...so much more left to cover. *sigh*

Totally agree.

Firefly is the best first season I've seen of any tv show, so it hurt more that it was cancelled. The potential there was so great.

I voted for Firefly. I liked how Buffy and Angel ended. Dollhouse was on and off. Firefly was definitley going somewhere huge and that got cut off.

I haven't watched Dollhouse or Firefly and so I had to choose between Buffy and Angel. I picked Angel cause I really liked season 5 and I felt they could give us a lot more! The ending was fabulous but abrupt. The reason I didn't choose Buffy is cause I felt disappointed by the way characters developed since season 6. It maybe is just me, but The Gift would be a glorious ending for Buffy.I will continue being interested in the series, i will try to get the comics but I would like to see more tv Angel.

Firefly, easily. Much as I loved Buffy and Angel, they both had a good run. And Dollhouse...wasn't Joss's finest work. Firefly was just getting started, and it was already great (maybe the best first season of a show that I've seen) - who knows how brilliant it could have become. I'd have wanted a second (and third, etc...) season in place of Serenity, though, rather than after it.

Well, I'm only a fan of Buffy and Angel, so... 😀

I think Angel. As much as I would've enjoyed seeing a better version of Buffy S8, I enjoyed the ending, and liked the ambiguity it held. My main 'ship ended pretty much perfectly, and Anya finally redeemed herself, as did Spike. Willow became a goddess, Dawn a beautiful young woman, and so forth. So, I'm pretty happy with it. 🙂

But Angel S5 seemed cut off, like it wasn't really over. I liked it (the feeling that the fight will eternally live on), but I still thought it needed more closure. Plus, Ats has SO many possibilities, and Angel S6 is really amazing. I love the Spillyria, and would've liked to see that explored more, as well as the Spangel. So, I'd say Ats. 😀
