I have a work experience application to fill out and it requires me to type up a max. 600 word article on a current issue that matters. I want to stand out, because there would be a lot of people talking about some of the topics I've considered.
I want to do something with pop culture, because that is what I specialise in but I don't know how to incorporate it into a current issue.
Please please please, help me. I need topic suggestions, advice, a shoulder to cry on, anything. I'm stuck on ideas -_-"

Best advice I ever got from a professor was to write on what you know. So, in pop culture, what is your specialty? What is your main knowledge base? Where are you most comfortable? Start there and then you can work out the current events part. 🙂
 
I'll be the shoulder to cry on! I'm trying to come up with ideas for you. When I come up with one, you'll know 'cause I'll tell you. But for now, cry all you want.
 
A current issue that matters, huh? Well is there anything going on right now that you feel passionately about? That seems like a good place to start. 😀
