Buffy and Angel voted best US TV sexiest couple!

"Buffy and Angel from cult TV show Buffy THE VAMPIRE SLAYER have topped a new magazine poll to find U.S. TV's All-Time Sexiest Couples.

The pair, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz, beat out Moonlighting's David and Maddie (Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd) and Father Ralph and Meggie (Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward) from The Thorn Birds in the Entertainment Weekly countdown.

Gossip Girl couple Chuck and Blair - played by Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester - and Battlestar Gallactica's Number Six and Gaius Baltar (Tricia Helfer and James Callis) round out the top five"

Not a surprise at all 🙂 Say what you will but DB and SMG always had a lot of on-screen chemistry.

I can image a great number of couples I consider better than Bangel . . . except for Wes/Fred.
 
Glad BtVS was recognized but seriously I don't find Buffy & Angel as the sexiest. (The first few episodes when Angel was mysterious was appealing but not once I discovered more about him) Buffy and Angel are good in a harlequin romance way but not my definition of sexy. Granted I'm a bit perverted and like things a little dirty so maybe thats why I'm all for Spike & Buffy... I mean there endless banter, flirting, fight scenes filled with sexual tension... and yes come on, their sex scenes are way more hot and raw. Obviously its one's own personal view of whats sexy but thats my opinion.

Spike: Bringing down the house in Smashed = hell yes! > Angel: Pretty romantical post-rain love scene = A teenage girl's fantasy.

However If I'm being completely honest, Spike, Dru & Angel were hands down the hottest BtVS couple. I'm all for undercover slashin'.

But again, ANYTHING over freaking Twilight makes me have some faith in humanity.

NICE Comment - Agree, I have to go with the sentiment of Great for the Buffyverse - irrespective of my own opinions about this relationship. Thanks for the message of harmony and recognition of the Buffyverse and not just the Bangel relationship.
 
Actually, I am shocked! It's very exciting, there's a lot more main stream options that could've taken that spot but I support this. Pretty cool!
