I have been watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer and I'm up to the 7 season now, just started it, last episode I saw was 7x4 I think.

It seems that willow is evil/scary a lot lately. especially when she was really into the dark magic near the end of the 6th season. The way her hair darked balck and her eyes and some certain scenes freaked me out.

I had a couple nightmares of her. What should or what can I do?

I kinda want to watch the rest of the series. But it's kinda hard to with my willowphobia. lol. Is she in the series much more?

If so, how much?

I know my username has Willow in it, it's becuase one of my friends made the username.

You get nightmares? *hugs* The worst part is over. But none the less, you should take it easy and maybe wait a while until you keep on watching.

Hi doll! Don't be scared. She's not scary at all in the seventh season!
Honestly, if you get nightmares from the show, you're obviously not ready to watch it and should just delay it for some months or even years.

i agree with social suicide, don't watch it if it gives you nightmares. One thing though - Willow doesn't get any scarier than you've seen if you've seen the other seasons (best i could do without giving you spoilers lol)
 
Yeah, she is the scariest when she is all veiny and dark haired in Season 6. So your through the worst of it.
 
You have willow nightmares? ooh but she's so cute and innocent, except when she's all dark and veiny lol

Well, the worse moments are really in season 6, but if those nightmares and fears are that bad i agree with Social Suicide and eunsoma, you should take a time off.
 
I agree with Social Suicide. It's wierd though cause we're the same age but I loved Dark Willow. In fact I preffered her over normal Willow. Everybody's different I suppose. Hang on, somebody's whose the same age as me! Finally! Nearly everybody on here is older than me.
 
season 6 is as dark as willow gets! if your having nightmares over her then you may be best to take a break from it before you start watching again or you might want to watch some earlier seasons you no you aren't scared of so you get the feel for nice willow again before you watch season 7.season 6 was very dark and easily the darkest of any episode in the rest of the buffy-verse

Don't take it so seriously. It's a TV show. Plus, S-7 Willow is actually pretty wimpy, IMHO.

Of course, you COULD face your fears with thoughts of cute, hoppy..... BUNNIES. 😉

If DARK WILLOW makes you have nightmares then I guess you never watch any kind of scary movies. That is kind of wild to me. I just don't see her as that scary. Very dark but not scary. JMO
 
I don't see how Willow became any scarier than any other 'evil' character in the buffyverse. On the contrary I felt that people could relate more easily to her going evil because she had real-world motivations rather than "I'm a vampire, which automatically means I'm evil" type stuff.

However, I agree with all the others. Take a break and come back when you're ready, it'll be there waiting for you!
 
Willow is not scary at all in Season 7. In fact, she's scared of herself throughout the whole season, so no more evil veiny willow. However, there is white, goddess willow at the end, but that's not scary at all.
 
She does have the 1 or 2 small minor moments with the black big eyes in Season 7, but thats about it and there not scary, your over the worst of it as dark Willow is pretty much season 6 based.
Regardless I agree with the others, prehaps take a break from Buffy for the moment if it's giving you nightmares.

I'd suggest only watching during the day then. Give your brain time to engage in other things during the evening, and then hopefully you won't have any more nightmares.

Don't give up on the series though. Keep plugging along through the rest of season 7. You'll see that Willow isn't really that scary, and you may actually be very proud of her at the end, for her role in helping save the world (instead of destroying it). It's a complete 180 from the end of season six.
 
Personally I'm scared of Giles when he's mad or when he snaps. Don't have nightmares about him though. Scared of Willow? Well done, Joss! lol

Try watching the last episode where Willow activates the scythe, near the end of the episode. If nothing else you'd know that there's a good light at the end of the tunnel.
 
awww....I am sorry you had nightmares, thats awful!!
If you got through season 6, you should be fine. She mellows out a lot after that. Though I loved seeing her go from one extreme to the other and almost back again. She is my favorite storyarc throughout the series I think. I am also a fan of Dark Willow
 
The only thing I thought when Willow was evil was: Mmmm... dark hair looks great on her 🙂 But I can imagine you think she was scary. I thought she was a little bit scary too. Don't watch it anymore if you get nightmares about it
