Scariest/Funniest/Favorite Episode of AS2

Scariest: The Shroud of Rahmon
Funniest: Guise Will Be Guise
Favorite: Guise Will Be Guise/Dead End/There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb
Worst: Happy Anniversary

To tell you the truth, I really didn't like S2 at all... I remember a while back, someone said he liked Angel alot, but there was a lot of slow spots. Now I know what he means:
Good: Judgement-Untouched [1-4]
Boring: Dear Boy-Darla (excluding Guise) [5-7]
Good: The Shroud [8]
Boring: The Trial - Disharmony (excluding Thin Dead Line) [9-17]
Good: Dead End - Plrtz Glrb [18-22]

That's just my opinion btw. I just really couldn't stand Darla's arc, and Angel firing Cordy/Wes/Gunn was one of the dumbest turns the show could take. Overall, this season wasn't horrible, but it was kidna broing sometimes.

I'm saying Are You Now or Have you Ever Been as my worst because I fell asleep whilst it was on.... 2 separate times,
 
Scariest: The Shroud of Rahmon-probably but I also find this boring as well.
Funniest: Guise Will Be Guise-love this one. I love dorky Wesley.
Favorite: Guise Will Be Guise and all the Pylea episodes.
Worst: Happy Anniversary, Shroud of Rahmon,

Favorite Quote: "My name is Gunn, and I got a gun!" -ha-ha, that was a classic.


Season 2 isn't my favourite either. I didn't like the whole Darla storyline. I preferred the more light hearted Pylea arc.
 
Here you can see how different people are: You named pretty much all the darla episodes boring. And that's what I loved most about s2! Also, s2 is one of my favourites in general.

Scariest: there was not really a scary episode that season ...

Season 2 was okay, but not my favorite. I liked Darla's story, but the rest was just dull.
 
Scariest: The Shroud of Rahmon.- that opening scene was just plain creepy...Alexis Denisof makes that scene great.
Funniest: Guise Will Be Guise- Why is the funniest? because of this line "Wait...were you in Virginia?" "... ... ...that's beside the point...anyways--"
Favorite: The Trial- Angel tried so hard to save Darla and he was pissed when he found out there was nothing that could be done.
Worst: The Thin Dead Line- it really felt like a filler episode. and zombie cops weren't that interesting.

I love S2. It's my second favorite season. I loved Darla's storyline. I always thought Dangel was one of the most interesting relationships in the 'verse, and I was really happy to see that explored further. The intensity and yet also the repulsion in their relaitonship fascinates me. I loved seeing Darla struggle with her new humanity, her soul, and I loved her and Lindsey together (hot!!) and her ultimate decision to sacrifice herself to save Conner was, I thought, one of the saddest scenes in the entire show. Julie Benz is gorgeous, and her and David seemed to have a great chemistry. Also, this season happens to contain my all-time favorite AtS episode ever.

Alright, so to my list:

Scariest: The Thin Dead Line
Funniest: Disharmony or any three of the Pylea episodes 🙂
Favorite: My all-time fav Angel ep EVER: Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been?
Runner-up: Darla paired with Fool For Love 🙂
Worst: Redefinition, maybe?

Favorite quote:

Read my new an improved AS2 review. I like totally changed my mind on... Everything. (Except Darla)
Scariest: Thinking Angel had killed Kate in 'The Shroud of Rahmon' or hearing Angel sing for the first time in 'Judgement'
Funniest: Almost everything in the Pylea episodes, namely NUMFAR!
Favourite: 'Darla', because I love the character, as well as seeing the Fanged Four in all their flashbacky glory!
Worst: 'Happy Anniversary'

Can't think of a favourite quote, but I loved it when Lorne invited Angel to see Elton John!
What can I say? This is my favourite season of Angel, closely followed by season 5 (just for Smile Time, really). Great character development, lots of witty dialogue, and, like Joan, I love, love, LOVE the Darla arc.
 
Scariest: 'Reunion'... Not a Darla fan...
Funniest: Probably 'Disharmony'...
Favorite: 'First Impressions'. Can't get over Angel in a pink motorcycle helmet...
Worst: Ugh, definitely 'Happy Anniversary'
 
Sacriest: n/a
Funniest: disharmony followed closely by Guise will be Guise. So funny when Cordy thinks Harm is into her.
Favorite: 1. Theres no place like PLRTZ GLRB. 2. The shroud of Rahmon. 3. Dead end.
Worst: Happy anniversary.
Overall: i absolutely loved everything about s2. To me Pylea is easily one of the best things about the entire buffyverse.
 
i cant remember what the ep is called,
but i would have loved fo angel to got the wrong pool to jump in, the one he has to save Darla in.
just to see him fall flat on his face would have made my day 10x over 🙂

I need to re-watch before I fill this in, but Season Two of Angel is my favourite season of anything Buffy or Angel.
