Scariest Movie Ever

I actually screamed on vxanders clown fest in nightmares when the clown popped in....I screamed...But...

Here is a clown story to laugh at!!!!


Last month or so i went to Elich's gaurden in denver colorado with 2 friends and we kinda paired off with guys and me and my guy were sitting down on these bleacher things and they had clowns all over the place...And on came outta the building we were sitting by and he walked up to(the clown) and asked me if i wanted a balloon and my eyes got all wide and i looked away and the clows was all awww...she doesnt like clowns!!!And he sat on my lap and i screamed and tried pushing it off and it stood up and say by me and started giving me a masauge(how ever spelled) and i tried climbing over my guys lap!!!I was screaming bloody murder climbing over this guys lap i just met, and getting a shoulder rub!!!!That is imbarrising for me!!!!



But im not that scared or dumb now.If i see a clown i just ignore it.But if the touch me ooohh its on!
 
The Exorcist was my scariest film of all time, until the other day when i watched a film form the 80's called The Entity. Now that is seriously scary (considering i was on my own at night watching it). It was scary because the ghost wasnt just haunting her it was violating her aswell, that was what i found the most scary. To think a ghost/demon could do that, and scarier still folks, it was based on a true story. If you want to feel icky at night when your all alone, then watch this film.
 
get that clown off grrrr lol I think The Ring was the sceriest movie(Never seen the Exosist Sp?). But my first ever horror movie (excluding buffy) was The Faculty kinda lame huh....lol But I will never forget how scared of that movie i was I was like 12 lol Im dumb it was much scarier than buffy lol
 
Hey carlyh, I HAVE that movie (The Entity). It was pretty chilling to watch, and very underrated, sadly.

About two years before "The Entity", another very good, but obscure, horror film was released called "The Manitou". It involves an ancient Indian Medicine Man impregnating himself into a young woman...and the fetus is in her neck. Thanks Kris for posting that great picture...it is just what I needed to get me to sleep tonight. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who gets major wiggins from the clowns. IT was not the greatest movie to watch but it ended up being very dissapointing, I didn't like how it ended. Anyway, I think the scariest movie had to be PSYCHO...I still get scared in the bathroom when I'm alone in the house. I also really liked the whole Halloween series, they are always good. And here is a little helpful hint... if anyone finds themselves in the movie store, wondering which scary movie would be perfect to rent, might I suggest not picking up Jack Frost, not one of the greatest!
 
Wow, I agree with all of you. I think the movies today are more disturbing than scary. The Ring was, Darkness Falls was...they just disturbed me with certain parts. I was the biggest horror junkie till I had kids but they made me a wuss.

Old Master~I have seen th eEntity a couple of times and it scared the sh*t outta me.

If yall ever wanna see what my nightmares are like watch Event Horizen or the House on Haunted Hill. Any of the scenes where they flash on Hell or the creepy scenes in which all the camera work is twisted. Those scenes freak me out cuz it's litterally like they shot them in my sleeping mind...

Scariest thing I have EVER seen...Teletubies...*shudders*
 
"THE MANITOU" is hard to find, but VHS copies are floating around. Forget about EBAY, carlyh...they don't have it...but Amazon.com does have a few copies at varying prices.
 
There was this video in the horror section ages ago that I never got to rent but I read an article done on it by Fangoria magazine it was called Henry "prtrait of a serial killer". The article writer said the fx were astounding and I had heard that anyone who had seen it was frieghtened of it. I always wanted to see it but alas that video store went out of business and was replaced by a Blockbuster which of course will not carry that movie.

I also heard good things bout that Rob Zombie movie, house of a 1000 corpses or something like that, has anyone seen that?
 
No. I was going to see that but a few of my friends said it was a huge waste of time. I trust their taste so I chose to pass. Maybe when there is nothing left to rent...

Hehehe, I just wanted to add that IT is on F/X right now. I just thought that was kinda funny considering all the IT talk that's been goin' on. The second half really isn't that good...
 
Old Master - The Omen is about that little devil child isnt it? Where he lets his mom fall from the rail? Is that the one?
 
Oh five by five why did you post that,that scared the s*#t out of me,now im gonna have a nightmare,this is pretty lame but if i pretend to be a slayer or somethin i wanna beat the crap out of anything in my path,lol,my scariest was Chuckie cause i hate dolls and Wrong Turn that made me puff and pant in the movie cinema by 20 mins,That was some freaky S*#T,lol
 
dr. Morgus, if you ever get to watch "HENRY...." you won't be dissapointed. It was an instant, albeit grusome, classic. Too bad it was released in a time when the MPAA were still being very unreasonable about movies of this nature.

It wasn't shown in NY at all for a while, and when it finally was released, it was a very brief run...and it was SEVERELY edited. But the VHS (don't recall if it's out on DVD) has the movie intact, and readily available anywhere for purchase. Try and find it, you won't regret.

As for Rob Zombie's film...I didn't like it all that much. The movie tried to invoke the style and feeling of past 1970's classics of this nature, like "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE", and "THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT". It was a gallant effort by Mr. Zombie, but it's nothing we haven't seen before. Still, it's a good flick to watch on one of those rainy days when you're bored and have absolutely nothing to do.

Yes, The Male Slayer, as carlyh has already said...."THE OMEN" is about the antichrist Damien. People who have never seen it will find it tame by today's standards, but trust me, it's frightening, and you'll really get into the story. An all time horror classic!

The first sequel, "DAMIEN", is also good, but avoid part 3 "THE FINAL CONFLICT", entirely. It's a big pile of elephant shyte, don't waste your time.
There is an "OMEN IV", but I have never seen it, although I have heard good things about it.

Sadly, I have missed recent horror movie releases due to work and all-around heat-induced laziness, movies like "WRONG TURN" as was mentioned here earlier. In fact, I never even got the chance to see "28 DAYS LATER".

Who here has seen either of those? Were they any good?

Speaking of the devil's child I think one of the scariest movies would be Rosemary's Baby made in 68 by Roman Polanski. It is not a slasher movie and has no gore or anything like that, it is rather long if I remmember correctly it is 2 hours or more but it is a really good movie one of those eerie chilling movies.
As for the Omen I thought it was a pretty good movie. manily because of how cold the kid was. But yes both the Omen and Rosemary's Baby are about the birth of a satanic child. I forget now if the child in Rosemary's baby was a boy or girl.
 
I found Omen quite fascinating, interesting with all the Apocalypse stuff and a bit eeky at times. Though not really scary.

What really gave me the creeps was The Ring. I was fascinated and had to see it... afterwards I was afraid that I would die for a week long! Even though I knew it was just a film! There's no way I'm ever going to rent that video ...
 
lol we got the special dvd and in it you can play the video (the one that was in the movie the black and white one) and it plays over and over again and you cant stop it with out the taking the disc out and we didnt know that so we were pretty scared lol. And we were alone and my friends sister had to call us every 1 or so hours and she called like 10 minutes after the movie finished and we didnt answer....it was bad lol
