Scars......Where?How?When?

Ow. Stitches really hurt. I had to get stitches for my scar on my left cheek. I'm still afraid of big, pointy needles.
I;m not. didn't hurt at all. The scar is still there and hurts but looks great and in another 6 months you won't ever have knowen I had it.

Ouch is right! Some of you guys have really bad booboo's! I have never had stitches before. My oldest-younger brother has four times or something like that!

When he was about 7 or something like that he fell on the corner of a metal file cabinet...with his legs open. The corner tore one of his ball sacks and he was rushed to the emergency room and had to get stitches there...you can imagine the trauma that caused. He's okay though, he will still me able to make babies later...lol
OH GOOD LORD! OMG. ouch. the poor soul. man. I hurt thinking about that. OMg!

Oh Chas! That's AWFUL! Your poor bro!!!

For me 22 at last count...though I don't feel like strip searching myself at the moment...so...yeah...::change::

My little cousin got into a motorcycle accident (He lives in Vietnam.) when he was six. Now, he has a huge scar on his knee. It almost covers the whole kneecap!

lol i got a staple scar too lol! I was in 4th grade and i tried to staple a paper and stapeld my finger with it and i got the paper out but i had to go to the doctor to get the staple out.

I have a scar on my right knee from surgery ( a year and a half ago) and I have a scar on my back from back surgery, It's not that noticible but its 3 or 4 inches long, no one can tell unles they look real hard. My last scar is on my toe when i was 3 i steped on a board with a nail sticking out lol

Wow scars.... This is my realm....

Ok, I have hundreds, but my best are as follows....

My 3 favorite....

#3 I have a cresent moon shaped scar across my chin, 12 stiches to close. Recived from falling through a roof with a 4'x4' sheet of plywood.

#2 I have a 5 inch slash accross the right side of my stomach from having my apendix removed. took 7 staples to close.

And for the grand finale....

#1 I cut half my hand off with an automated circular saw at work.
to view my hand the way it looks today, Take a look at this pic 🙂

And for those of you with a strong stomach, and I mean STRONG,
these are some very graphic pics of my hand right before surgery...

Not much pain, shock took care of that, and then they gave me my morphine button in the hospital and a bucket full of pills to take home with me....

Therapy is where the pain was, and we wont go into that.....

The thumb only moves at the wrist, and the ring finger is stuck as it looks..(I can move it with the other hand, lol). and the pinky is as good as new 🙂

My best is about four inches and runs across my upper chest (right by my collar bone), from when my cat was sleeping on me and awoke with a bit of a start. Another good one is a circle on top of my foot, right in the middle, from when i was about five and stepped on a big construction nail, had my shoe nailed to me food for several hours. Other than that, just lots of ramdom scars from my playful kitties.

I have a friend who sewed right through her finger with a sewing machine, that was pretty messy. Right throught the nail.

I have a 4 inch scar on my right cheek. When I was 13 I was in a car crash and, sitting in the passenger seat, cut my cheek going through the windscreen. It was very deep and I was lucky that no major facial nerves were damaged. This happened in 1972 and seatbelts were not standard issue back then! I have lived with this scar for so many years now and I often forget its there at all. Also, as a woman, I have the option to disguise it with a bit of make-up, to make it less visible. I have stayed clear from corrective surgery, as the danger of doing more harm (too many facial nerves in the area) is too big a risk. So far, I never had anybody saying anything negative about it - quite the opposite.

I also have three 7 inch scars on my belly. Almost on top of each other. Two were from ceseareans and one is from another operation.

scars.. hmmm, I have a lot. I don't think I could list them all. I mean 17 years of miscellaneous Martial Arts, sports, 5 German Shepherds, and several cats.. Yeah you get the point right? Plus I like sharp things, I collect knives and swords. So yeah.. I got plenty. lol I don't think I have any favorites but I have one almost 5 inch long scar on my face that runs from the right side of my left eyebrow to my left cheek. That one was bad, I had 11 stitches if I recall correctly. Luckily it healed well and isn't to noticeable according to my friends and family. I also have this big one that goes across the top of all 4 of my fingers on my right hand (not my thumb though). Someone thought I shouldn't be getting into this drawer, and slammed my hand in it. So that one was painful. I have a bunch on my wrist, ( not from trying to kill myself I assure you) but from yanking a crazy ass dog off of my little brother when he was 3. You'd think that would have taught him to not tease dogs? lol.. It didn't. Then I have one on my left leg from a bike/car accident I was in. Those are the main ones I get asked about. I have tons more, but like I said before, I could never list them all.

To much too to list them all, lol
I bet most of them will just disappear with time, but yeah, the bigger one remain to reminds us stuff.
For instance, that it's better to remain on the bike, rather than fall on the floor, lol, I think that my knee got that ! lol

OMG I don't hane even a half of your scars!!!In that area I have to be just lucky,....
Nevertheless I hate needles and injections.I can even faint...

OMG! THAT MUSTA HURT LIKE HELL! I reall can't stand the sight of blood, but I had to do it. oh man. ouch.

the scar on my chin is a nice reminder of the day when I fell on a broken glass bottle (aged 5)

The scar near my eyebrow (yeah, I've got one too ! but below) is a reminder of a chicken that attacked me. They are really vicious animals, believe me. I never trusted one again... (aged 7)

The scar on my right hand happened after a nasty fight with knives. I was the victim, not the attacker ! (aged 9)

The scar on my left thumb also happened with a knife when I decided I was old enough to cut a piece of cheese by myself at the age of 4 .

HEHEHE...I was always getting into trouble when I was a child !

Maybe yuo should wear a helmet. lol. no I;m kidding. put the knife down! I mean it. you'll hurt yourself. hahah. ok sorry. could resist. seiously though, don't play with sharp items.

I also have sevreal tiny scars on my hands from when my cousin got pissed in a card game and clwed at my hands.

I have many, many scars as well from sports, bikes, knives and all those common things. One scar on my little finger on the right hand stands out because its actually like a long light color bump from when I burned myself using a hot glue gun around 10 years ago to put together a dance constume. I have a couple on my face from the chicken pocks when I was 6 one next to my nose from when a cat scratched me. I also have a nice big one on my knee from being a cluts last year and tripped. *sigh* I'm hoping it will go away though with time, unlike my other knee that got into a fight with a third base playing softball and lost.
