Scenes you watch over and over again

Tonight i found myself rewatching scenes with season 7 and they were the same ones i always watch. This season gets criticised a lot by many yet some of the scenes are so appealing to me.

Scenes like Buffy walking into the basement where Faith and Spike are chatting and the dynamic between the three as Buffy thinks "here we go again", i just never tire of watching that scene.

Also the wonderful speech from Xander about Buffy, its just such an emotional moment it is a pleasure watching it and it gets me everytime.

Leading on from that Xander telling Buffy "i thought i'd be with you at the end" is both a touching and funny moment which only fans of the show will understand and love.

Then for all you Spuffies you have so many great scenes to choose from. The ones i pick out are unsurprisingly the speech from Spike which reinvigorates Buffy into finding the Scythe. Love how they recap about old times and its in this scene where i can't fail to appreciate their relationship.

Then there is the scene where Spike admits it was "the best night of his life". How anyone can't love that scene, well i would find it strange even if hardcore Bangel fans didn't appreciate it.

Not to leave out you Bangel fans of course there is the moment where Angel resurfaces and when we get the infamous Cookie doe analogy which again is just a great moment i always love to watch

My point is basicially how still after 7 years these scenes can make you laugh, hit you emotionally and just provide general enjoyment even if you've seen them a hundred times each.

Season 7 has so many of these scenes and that's why i'am thankful we got this season.

Does anyone else have certain scenes from any season where they'll just go back too all of a sudden and watch them a lot?

This may sound weird, but I like to watch the Touched love scene (where everybody is getting down) a lot.

Every single Cangel scene 😀 But particularly the goodbye scene in You're Welcome.

Smashed when Buffy and Spike bring down the house.

The Gift, when Buffy sacrifices herself...the song in the background is just so heartbreaking!

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, when Cordy stands up to her friends in the end.

The Wish, the huge dusting scene and at the same time Giles' conversation with Anyanka.

I can watch The Gift over and over. It makes me shed a tear everytime.

Spike's " I'm drowning in footwear!" scene.

Joyce and Spike's scenes, all of them.

I have only few scenes I watch over and over again. It's not scenes. It's more like very short moments. 🙂

Buffy and Faith heart to heart scene in Sanctuary. It's one of the only two scenes I can say every lines along with them.

"Dawn, listen to me, listen..."

Cordy in Homecoming, when she chases Lyle Gorch away with her...words. 😀 Her expression is priceless.

And when Faith stakes vamps at the dock in Consequences. I think that's one of the coolest staking moments of Buffyverse. Oh, and in Who Are You too, when BuffyasFaith stakes the vamp from behind his back in the church.

Dance scene in Bad Girls.

When Faith breaks out of jail in Salvage.

When Spike tells Xander "Don't turn around. Don't look at me." and *ping* Hawaiian shirt.

The mirror scene in Who Are You? So funny!

In 'Band candy' where Giles is telling Buffy to hit Ethan Rayne. LOL (the bit where she punches him and Giles is like 'yes!'. It's too funny.

'Giles: He's lying. Hit him!

Buffy: I don't think he is, and shut up.

Giles: (excitedly) You're *my* Slayer, (points at Ethan) go knock his
teeth down his thr...

Buffy: (interrupts) Giles!

Me and my friend put this on repeat so many times. :L

There are a couple I've seen over and over. I love the last part of Fool for Love, from the time Spike & Buffy are outside talking/fighting ("You're beneath me") to the end, when he goes to kill her and ends up comforting her. That ending is near and dear to my Spuffy heart.

I also love to watch Buffy tell Angel to go away in Chosen, and when she tells him Spike is in her heart. Then I skip over the cookie dough nonsense and watch the scene in the basement with Spike. I've seen that so many times I can recite the dialogue. I think my favorite part is Spike's face when she tells him the amulet was to be worn by a champion, and you see his face fall, then the change in his expression when she puts it in his hand.

Oh! I love the scene when she saves him from the First. Then it's the look on Buffy's face I love. I also love the scene when they're fighting all the ubervamps in Chosen, when the music picks up and they start kicking butt, all the way through Spike incinerating.

The scene in season 5 when Buffy pretends to be the Buffybot to make sure Spike didn't tell Glory that Dawn was the key.

In Afterlife when Buffy comes down the stairs and Spike realizes it's not the Buffybot, up til all the Scoobies come busting in.

Do I have a one track mind? I believe I do.

Graduation Day pt 2: The bite scene (sw) and him leaving...🙁
The Prom :The scene where he watches her sleep and the break-up scene. Plus the "Class protector" award cause it makes me cry out of happiness!

Becoming pt2: the last...10mins...the fight with her mother, willow's spell, swordfight, Spike helping, Angel getting back his soul.

Hush scene : Buffy and her gestures...enough said!:biggrin3:

The Yoko Factor: The bangel scene of course!!! It always makes me happy!

Amends: The meeting on the hill and the bangel dream!

I like to re-watch a lot of the fight scenes, because they're so awesome. Like the sword fight in Becoming pt2 is just beautiful, the fight between Buff and Faith in Graduation day pt1 as well and the Final fight is fantastic.
But just on an every episode basis all fights are worth their watch overs

Earshot and the Gift are two eps I can re-watch tirelessly.

the Buffy/Giles scene where she says "He kept saying 'kissing toast, he lived for kissing toast" in Faith, hope and trick

Oh an Buffy kissing vamped out Angel in What's my line

(and on Angel ANYTHING with Puppet Angel. "I do NOT have puppet cancer!" LMAO)

Soo many scenes I can watch over and over, the ones I cant think of now are -

I Only Have Eyes for You when Buffy and Angel are playing out the ghosty roles.

Bad Girls, pretty much the whole episode lol, especially with Buffy and Faith dancing at the Bronze.

The Yoko Factor (I think thats it, I cba checking) When Angel and Riley are arguing then Buffy leaves the room with Angel hahahahah stupid Riley.

No Place Like Home when Buffy finds out from the monk that Dawn isnt her sister and then Buffy going home and being nice to Dawn.

The Gift - Buffys speech and death scene

OMWF - I'll Never Tell with Anya and Xander 😀

Smashed and Wreaked - The building falling down (sw) and the next morning scene.

Lessons when Buffy is training Dawn

Selfless - pretty much the whole episode, and the end scene with D'hoffran (or however ya spell it) and Anya

Conversations with Dead People - Buffy and Holdens conversations

Bring on the Night (?? Cbf checking again) Buffy speech about becoming an army after she gets bashed up by the UberVamp

Get it Done Buffys talk with the original watcher guys, and spike killing the demon and getting his coat back

Touched - Spikes speech to Buffy

End of Days - Calab and Buffys fight and the Bangel moments (sw) (sw),

Chosen - Continued Bangel (sw) and the cookie dough speech. Buffys talk to the First as herself, Buffys whole speech thingo about their choice yada yada and then when they all become slayers. Willows goddess things a bit meh but its good when all the slayers start kicking arsse. And buffys "GET OUT OF MY FACE" of which is my desktop pic made by an old friend I havnt seen round here in a long long while. Anyway I degress. And Buffys smile at the end of the series (yes in my mind the series ends there)

I havent rewatched in I would say close on a year now so I really gotta get back to it as I miss Buffy and I miss what it meant to me. I betcha I will have a hundred more to write down but since season 7 was the last I watched (all that time ago) so its the one I seem to remember best. I used to watch the series over and over and over but lately I been too busy going out and getting pist so havent been able to do anythign here or work a dvd player if I do get home which is very rare these days. ANyway blabbeling. Continue.

I don't usually watch scenes over and over again because when I'm rewatching Buffy I like to watch the eps in order, all the way through 😛
I'm OCD like that haha

But, if I did I know I could watch Giles' drunken scenes in The Yoko Factor thousands of times. I NEVER get tired of that :lmao:

I've never watched just a scene again, but if I were to go back and watch something I'd pick:

The scene in Earshot where Buffy has to get to Jonathan in the tower, so she does the cool running up the steps and flipping up onto the roof, and that girl who Buffy was "smarter" then in class says something like "I could do that"

The scene in Graduation Day(I think it's GS, may be one before it) where Buffy and Faith fight and they go through the window, I loved that fight.

The Buffy/Faith fight scene after Faith wakes up from the coma.

The Willow/Glory Fight scene where she's all super powerful - one of my favorites!

Scene I could NEVER get tired off = Cordy falling asleep at the ballet and snoring + drooling over Angel's tux. Love her there, so freakin' funny.

Just remembered another one from Angel. pretty much the whole Sense and Sensitivity ep, but mainly the "you could be a rainbow, not a 'painbow'"
