School Memories

Faith: They wre all multiple choice, it was hell easy I would tick any and me talk to ma freind Diedre for the rest of the time. It really pissed the other people off 😀
That teacher is such a - words im not going to say here - Did he end up getting sued? I mean that way he practically made you go to hospital, if it wasent for him yu wouldnt have fallen down the stairs. But your alright now arent you?

Uh, as all right as she ever is...😉

I had lotsa stuff happen in school, you know, back when the dinosaurs walked the earth...unfortunately most of it involves me not remembering the next morning. I was a straight A student, but I liked my ethanol in all it's myriad forms. The most memorable was my 18th brithday. My older buddy picked me up and we drank 1.5 litres of rye whiskey...then I went back to my Biology class. I didn't know, but we were dissecting cow eyeballs that day...well, you can guess the rest. Let's say the janitor was not pleased with me, or the teacher either...

Oh so its like that is it!

Alyson - Yeah i'm fine now, I still have epilepsy but no long term damage from that fall. I wasn't around during it so I didn't get to know much but my mum went ape at the head teacher, who is a bit of a sleaze in the first place. The teacher left and there was apparantly a police investigation and an internal one but no one spoke to me. And at the time we had other things to think about.

Wow thats just really unbeleavable that people are really like that in the world, like I mean it was alright if e didn't know but after you told him he should have. ok im going to stop rubbing it in now and shut up *sticks scotch tape on her mouth*

All kidding aside, I'm glad it worked out for you, Faith. Amazing, with all the "conscoiusness raising" they do in schools that some dickwads still have no clue...I don't get angry often, but that kinda crap sets me off in a way that nothing else can...ok, breathe...I'm ok now...as ok as I ever am...😉

Hmmmmmm.... school memories eh? School memories aren't good. I've been avoiding this thread but now I need to tell you. When I still lived with my Parents, the way they treated me reflected through everything I did and everywhere I went. But you know, kids don't understand that something may be wrong on that side of things and they get their chance to be cruel. All the way through Primary school I never had a single friend. Only a dinner lady who would sit in the playground with me and brush the knots out of my incredibly long hair. (My dad didn't want me to get it cut. And he said it damaged it to put it in a bobble. So therefore it was ragged out everyday by a very caring dinner lady) That was it really. I don't have good memories of Primary school.

High school was different. Not much different though. I had the right clothes and hair do, but I just wasn't coping with anything. And that showed and I used to get called a freak and such like cos I acted differently. I was trying to deal with a court case that went nowhere and a bunch of social workers who didn't really give a damn. I remember that I skipped school with some kids and we went shoplifting. I wasn't myself... I just wanted to fit in. But that didn't help. I got caught and that didn't make me cool it just made me a loser. So then I got my head down, made some friends who weren't in the cool gang. You know, the Willow kind? I got myself some good grades and made my family and social work proud. So proud in fact that they didn't see fit to bother me so much except for the 6 monthly meeting.

So there you go... my horrifying journey through school. The only thing is... by the end... I started to like school. weird huh?

Hey, define "strange"...Canadians aren't strange...they're just...boring...(did I say that out loud??)😉

LOL No I meant where they have locations as not actual location, like:

"1/2 way 2 Happy Land"
"2nd star 2 the right"
"Where the cheese is"

I live in Scotland too. I was born in England. I'm just a crazy person by nature and that's why I say "2nd star to the right". And Peter Pan was set in London so it kinda says britain (in a completely round about way).

Do you live near Faith?
I have never seen peter pan so i didnt kinda make that connection, is stars in some connection there?
I havent change my location since I signed up.. strangely enough..

Yeah, Peter tells Wendy that the way to Neverland is the "Second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning."

I don't live near Faith no. I live in Aberdeen, it's further north than where Faith is. My Aunt and Uncle live in Fife though which, as I recall, is close to Faith.

Neverland is where Killerdwarf said it is. My connection is that I live in the clouds mostly, or that's where my head resides. And Peter Pan was my favourite kids book, I also want to have my childhood back. And Peter Pan never grows up. 😀

EDIT: Best get back on topic guys! 😉
