So i guess this thread is based all about school Sorry i just started today and got curious...When do you all start up the new school year..What grade will you be in, Have you already finished school? What did you major in if so.....Just all the normal school questions maybe some interesting facts on your daily school schedule so others who are in a different country can see how other schools work.... :butter:

I just turned 16 and i'm supposed to be in the 11th grade this year a junior wiht one more year to look foward too but.... I failed 4th grade for being alittle witch....and then that put me a year back well last year i was in 9th grade just starting highschool and really excited cause hey highschool is supposed to be great but i got sick and to make a long story short got kicked out for missing too many days when they wouldn't accept dr excuses (Tells you how much my school sucks huh) anyways i just started school back up and i'm a Freshman agian and for those of y'all who dont know what we call freshman,Sophmore, junior, senior...a freshman is a 9th grade student just starting highschool(thats me 😀) a sophmore is a 10th grade student a junior is 11th and senior is 12 which is the last year of highschool :woot: see so i still have 4 years of highschool to look foward too plus about 4 years of college so its plenty of time to make sure i really wanna be in forensic science or if i'd rather try to do something else..... but as for my school nothing really interesting about it...Its crowded and all plus instead of class rooms with doors and stuff we just have really big cubicles :bluesad:
 
I'm a college senior...I have just this semester coming up left. I'm so happy...three classes and then no more school EVER!!!! I'm a Business Mgmt. major with concentration in Human Resource Management. I already have a job in my field. My school hooked me up with an internship last year that turned into a great career opportunity.
 
Well I am going into the 11th grade at the very end of August... I have a 'light' first semester, and a horrendous second semester... I'm very scared of that, lol... but I have quite a few friends in all of my classes so I should be okay 😀!
 
Well, I'm gonna start college next monday, I'm really afraid 😀, I think it's really hard to star something new... well at least at the begining.

My school starts again on September 6th I think..yeah..I'm sure thats when I go back,not looking forward to it though...
 
I go back to college on Sept 7th, for my second year of college, and last year before uni. Eek! Got to go to the college a week tomorrow to find out my first year results.

Already know I've got 3 3000 word essays in for December, not fun.
 
I start back at school on Thusrday (don't ask) 2nd September. I'm going to start year 9 (I'm English), which is my 3rd year of high school, not sure what grade it would be if I lived in America but it's the school year I turn 14 yrs old. It's SATS year this year which I'm not looking forward to, because I'm being given all the top level tests and I was rubbish in last years exams.
 
I finished highschool back in May, Yay! I kinda miss it though, but I start College at the end of September and I cant wait!!!! I find out my G.C.S.E results on 26th Aug..argh!
 
Don't say that word!!...I hate school, I'm gonna be in grade 8 this september.Don't remind me of School!!!lol.
 
I'm going into my senior year we start on the 13th, Friday! The most unlucky day in my life. I love school really cuz my teachers are really cool. I can't wait!
 
As I'm an old fossil compared to most of you guys, school (and even college) is a long distant memory to me. Take my advice and enjoy it as much as you can - the real world has a tendency to both suck and blow a lot of the time (apologies to Bart Simpson😉) - although there are the occasional good moments...
 
I'm starting my first year of high school on August 30....ugh i dont even want to think about it. And I'm gonna have to put up with my brother for one year (he's gonna be a senior). Grrreeaatt.
 
Huh? Highschool's so much fun. And the bright side you'll only have to deal with your bro 1 year...
 
Yea, everyone keeps saying that high school is really fun and that I'll really like it and all, but i don't really wanna go. And I guess you're right, dealing with my brother for only a year. Thanks Bubbles 🙂

There is Infants, which you start at age 4or5. There is Year1 and 2. Then you leave and go into Junior School where there is Year 3,4,5 and 6. Then you start HighSchool where there is Year7,8,9,10 and 11, we finish school at 16 and then from there you can either go into Work or College, in College there is two years, then you can go into Work or go to Universty...hope that helps..

Or in some parts (or I think only my part but they're going to change it but theres big "we dont want to change" blah blahs).

1st School- start at 4 or 5. Years 1-4
Middle School- Years 5-8
High School- Years 9-11

I think thats the better scheme, personally i was scared of the year 11s when in year 9, cant imagine what it would of been like if i was in year 7.
