I can't help but keep seeing Sarah as Buffy in this movie.
Which is terribly disturbing.
Is it just me? *goes deeply red*

It's not bad for me. Besides, she still had some fight scenes, which is so cool. Especially, in Scooby Doo 2, when she fights with a knight. 😀

I liked her in scooby doo, it was nice seeing her in a different sort of role, i was always used to her being Buffy till i saw this movie. 😀

Actually I see SMG in Scooby Doo as the exact anti-Buffy, she does kick some butt in the second one but I still have no issue separating the two characters.

I never see her as Buffy in her other roles but whenever I see her in horror movies like Scream 2 and IKWYDLS I get real sad cause she's so helpless when i'm used to her being so strong and fearless.

I kinda hated that fight scene as it felt me cheap way of reminding her role as Buffy. It did not fit into her character at all.

it was a shame RnB or what passes for it these days was 'in' at the time

Scooby Doo should have had a rock soundtrack

Exactly what i say to my freinds all the time.
I tought the 2 movies where okay but it kept trying to say "look weve got buffy at daphne! look how sparkly and cool SMG is!"

I agree... Daphne was supposed to be the kinda prissy one, and to make her fight seemed way out of character for me. I thought it was just to give Sarah a chance to showcase her martial arts skills, or maybe to empower Daphne so as not to piss off the feminists. LOL

I thought they didnt make a scooby-doo movie, they made a movie of the opposites of the characters. Really they should have been faithful to the characters in the cartoons.

Its not like we needed them to be set up like you do in superhero movies and have a whole movie of that, wev all watched the cartoons.

I am glad they just went ahead and made it not one of those... origins of the characters films and went into an adventure, but why make the characters all diffrent.

they even had the soul swap bit (which i liked but still it proves my point)

I don't know.

The best characters in the movie are always Shaggy and Velma. I agree that Daphne with fighting skills is out of character and Freddy is friggin boring. He can't do anything a bit. Even Daphne fights better then him. 😛

p.s. Seth Green is totally hot in Scooby-Doo 2. Wait, are we talking about BtVS? It would be great if Eliza was in there too. Maybe, as a journalist, instead of Alicia Silverstone. 😉

Agreed

so why did they have to pair Velma and Fred up instead of Daphne and Fred (so they make a joke about it but still)

too many 'new' things they were trying

.........and Eliza is good any time

Haha, maybe Daphne is too trendy to be in Stone Age.

Anyone noticed that Velma(Scooby-doo's Velma) always find good-looking guys to date in the movies.

And there will be Scooby-doo 3? Just curious.

personally i think its financially whatever to make the cartoon movies... I am fairly sure they make more money back than making a third live-action film would
none of the 'trying to mess with the characters' cant we have

Im a massive fan of the scooby movies and thought u was good.
Last saturday night (23rd) i went 2 a friends costume party as hair...and my other half was Shagy, wanna put a pic 2 show u but she hasnt uploaded yet they was kool.
