Sarah and the gang have signed on for the third flick before Monsters Unleashed has even opened.


PLANNING AHEAD ... way ahead! Even before ''Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed'' hits theaters (March 26), the producers reportedly have inked deals to re-sign the entire cast for ''Scooby-Doo 3.''

Apparently early test marketing of rough-cut screening audiences has proved so positive, Warner Bros. is lining up Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Alicia Silverstone, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and the gang for the third flick.

Alicia Silverstone...thats interesting. Well looks like Sarah will be very busy, mb there won't be a Angel guest appearance ever🙁. Thx for the info Magui!
 
Go Sarah. She's really hitting the bank with this Scooby Doo franchise. I hope the next two movies do well. 😀
 
Good for Sarah. I'm not sure I can watch three SD movies with a lot of excitement, though. I want her back on AtS, too!

Am I the only one who hated the SD movie? I'm a fan of the cartoon and the film was just one long piss take.

This is very good news, I like the SD movie, and looking forward to no 3.

BTW: Alicia Silverstone plays a reporter and a possible love interest for Fred.

I used to love the cartoon. The movie IMO did no justice at all to it. The first movie was pretty awful IMO, and I didn't think it did all that well...... personally, I have no idea why they are making a second or third movie, so you are not the only one who hated the movie. Some people seemed to really like it though...
 
I guess this is the challenging movie roles she wants to take on.......God almighty!!Hasn't she got enough money already??🙄
 
Nooooooooo!!! I really hope that this isn't true. 🙁 I didn't like the first movie and it was too bad to hear that their going to do second sd movie but third?!? NO! Please no! Sarah could be in so much better movies... So why SD?!?! 🙁 🙁 🙁
 
Another Scooby Doo film, WOOHOO. I am so looking forward to 2 & 3, hehe.
 
I hope the 2nd Scooby Doo movie flat-out bombs and BADLY (well, unless it turns out to be really good of course). The first one didn't deserve all the money it made IMO.

SMG left an incredible show and won't even do some Angel episodes this season, but she'll make these very mediocre (that's being polite) Scooby Doo movies? She must just be in it for the money, because after seeing the first film I wouldn't have done a second without huge pay.

She should give her devoted fans what they really want (and deserve) to see her in.... and that is a Buffy movie written and directed by Joss Whedon (how can she not trust him to make it right if he's in total control?).

I'd like to see Joss write and direct a trilogy of 3+ hour Buffy movies (ahh only in my dreams) like LOTR trilogy. Heck, I'd like to see an Angel movie too. She could co-star in it.

They'd be A LOT better than Scooby Doo movies. That's for sure.
