Do you remember your dreams?
Not usually. I sometimes remember fragments but hardly ever whole dreams.
It's why I love Restless so much, it has that fragmented quality that all of my dreams seem to have. Blended bizaare-ness.
What's the weirdest dream you've had?
I remember it even now- its actually recurred 4 times now- here's the gist of it:
I'm at work and this guy comes up to me- I think he's a potential customer but he's usually indistinct and mysterious. He appearance changes each time. He always sounds like Donald Sutherland (I think)- and he asks about our rates. He has something under his arm wrapped in a plastic bag- could be a plant or a vase or a grapefruit. It's round and indistinct.
So we talk and he seems about to sign up when he suddenly excuses himself and leaves. He always leaves behind the bag and I immediately go after him to give it back but he's gone.
And I just can't let it go for some reason- I leave work in the middle of the day and look all around town for him for ages. I catch glipses of him and I shout for him but he doesn't turn back. And then people- people I know- start to try and stop me from getting to the guy, first by distracting me 'hey you, what are you up to/what are you doing tonight?' and slowly, very slowly they then get more forceful- shoving me and grabbing at me.
Then- and this is where the dream always takes a darker turn away from that slightly surreal wackiness- I realise that they're NOT my friends but just
look that way, their behaviours all off and they're being kinda pointlessly nasty, so I run and they chase me and they chase me. They say they want the bag.
I always seem to wake up before I open the bag to see what's inside- either that or I can't remember.

If you could star in any existing movie... which one would it be?
Dead Or Alive: the movie! (Yes I'm shallow)
It was basically what a computer game adapted-movie should be- find what made the game a success and do that on film.
In this case it was some decently choreographed chick-fights because it was a beat 'em up game about (mainly) girls.
Plus I would get to punch Eric Roberts in the face.
If you could pick a book that you'd like to see made into a movie, which one would that be?
There are quite a few trashy horror novels by Richard Laymon that have decent concepts and would make for great slasher-movie fare. The type of fun popcorn horror movies that aren't made anymore.
If you could have written an existing book, which one would you pick and why?
Something successful that I could also be proud of.
Like the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels- hilarious, original and fun. If I had written those I would be happy.
Big no. The fun/excitement always feels so forced. But with added queuing!
If you were and actor and got to play in character in a Buffy reboot, which character would you choose to play?
I'm tempted to say Buffy- kickass slayer- but I'd prefer to be a supporting Scoobie so
less bad things happen to me.
Maybe like a female Larry (closeted jock), but I would live longer and replace Cordelia as the plucky one with a big mouth!
😀 I would have a great arc of being humanised by my flaws and would eventually redeem my bitca ways.
And I'd end up datring Willow. Nerd-on-Jock love!
I love sports. I'm particularly good at tennis/squash myself. I get to play on most weekends.
What tv show do you hate?
A few actually, but I usually avoid them and I'm safe. But I can't escape Game Of Thrones unfortunately. I don't
hate it exactly, but its basically tits, gore and dragons, I don't see the big deal.
Oh and The Walking Dead. Depressing as s**t and bloody slow- I've got better things to do.
