Ala David Letterman, Scott Allie has created a list of the top ten reasons why we should be looking forward to the first month of Season 9, which is chock full o' mysterious teasers. Another treat for today is this exclusive image we received from the highly anticipated upcoming Angel & Faith series which is being released on August 31.

I am really excited to see what the world without magic is like. Of course it would be more dangerous than we'd think. I don't even have any clue of what to expect and that's part of what I love about the Buffy verse. I always appreciate a storyline where almost anything can happen . . .and usually does. 🙂

Hehe, well I suppose it's meant to be funny but frankly (and this has nothing to do with shipping-preference) but it mostly made me feel like he's undermining their own work.

They created the Twilight-mess, didn't necessarily go over well with a big part of the fans, but y'know what - stand for it. That's the least they could do, if only to give themselves some of the respect that I'm sure they want from the fans.

I get and feel that. I still think it's funny just 'cause it's the silly shipper in me coming out... but yeah, I feel this way too kinda...

I can't help but think 5 and/or 3 might have something to do with Spike somehow.

I doubt 3 has anything to do with Spike. We know there is a party. If the hunky demon shows up it could go that route. The cover has Buffy waking naked in bed.

5 could be how Spike loses his ship. It's not supposed to be around very long.

I think it's clear that 3 is a reference to Beer Bad, or perhaps Reptile Boy, where in both bad things happen to Buffy after she drinks (and is clearly a punishment).

When Buffy drank with Spike (like when he took her to play kitten poker) the worst that happened was she yelled at him. Maybe this drunk!Buffy episode will be something like Life Of The Party. Maybe her and Dawn will karaoke, lol.

Buffy has done worst things with Spike while she was sober, lol.

I haven't seen the cover referred too, but this certainly wouldn't be the first time Buffy woken up naked next to someone new.

For some reason, I just got a vision of Buffy waking up next to Andrew. Now THAT could work out being absolutely hilarious, especially if neither one had any recollection as to how they got there. Or just imagine Buffy and Willow waking up together, with the same short term amnesia. Too bad Faith's so far away...

To be honest, THANK GOD Willow is getting some new wardrobe items... I got really sick o the Colonial garb she was put in for all of Season 8.

I would have been more excited if #2 had said that it was Frank Miller and/or J. Michael Straczynski (sp?) that was writing it, after S8 I would say that JW has lost all contact with reality and characterisation.
