Well the title of this thread is kind of deceptive I think. It sounds like I'm challenging you to an online match. I'm not.
I'm just curious if there are any other serious scrabble players on this board.
I used to think I was pretty much all by my lonesome in my scrabble obsession, but lately I've been noticing scrabble-talk turning up more and more on late night talk shows. Apparently John Malkovich is an A grade player, and the other night on Jay Leno, Nicolette Sherridan was bragging about all the times she's beaten James Woods.
It almost sounds like Scrabble is replacing poker as the between takes game of choice in the trailers of hollywood sets.
You know what I mean when I say serious Scrabble player, right? I mean you know what a Bingo is in Scrabble parlance, you look for the double-doubles, and you've made a point of memorizing words like Fagir, Ai, Ulu, Crwth, and Aureate..
So...anyway...Are there any serious Scrabble players at this board?
