Is anyone else as excited as me for this movie?! All of the pictures that are leaking, the cast, everything is amazing so far. All of the original people are back on board including Kevin Williamson & Wes Craven so you know it's going to be pretty good!!! I'm such a huge fan of the Scream series so I can't wait for this. I guess this movie will be the beginning of an all new trilogy & Wes and Kevin are supposedly on board for all 3. It seems like this movie is going to center around horror remakes because it looks like some scenes from the new movie are paying homage to the first Scream. Here are some more pix from the set...

OMG I can't wait. This has been one of my favorite horror series for pretty much my whole life. Nothing compares to the wit and shocks. Can't wait to see how this all turns out. I hope Dewey and Gail don't die. I have a feeling Sid might get booted at some point in the trilogy. But this is amazing! I have been waiting for this for 10 years!! lol.

I really can't wait for this to come out! Me and my mum have been excited about this ever since the rumours starting circulating last year, and we were both so excited when it was confirmed. My boyfriend and I decided to play the scream drinking game the other night cause we were so excited about it!

I just know that it is going to be good. Wes Craven is fantastic, and Kevin Williamson is a talented screenwriter.

Neve is looking fantastic, and I just adore the characters of Gail and Dewey.

The premise of the 'remake' is absolutely genius at the moment with so many of them coming out all the time. The scream movies just show how well a parody can be done without resorting to the crappy standards of movies like Vampires Suck and Scary Movie.

Does anyone have any awesome plans yet for the movies release? I'm planning on hosting a rewatch of all three movies at my house with my mum, dad and boyfriend. Some beers and some popcorn and then head down to watch the last at the movies.

Me too!!! I really, really don't want Gale or Sid to die but I have a feeling they will at some point in the trilogy. :cry3:
 
Thanks for posting ah the pics have me even more excited if that is possible. I have been excited for a while now to me this is a horror series that gives the horror genre justice. It is so cool and weird to see because it seems like we have grown with these characters. Sydney looks all grown up! 🙂
I am tempted when it opens i know i will go the first day but i am seriously considering making a shirt and everything going all out. This is my twilight in a sense like it is that big to me lol.
 
Shoot, i may go dork and buy a scream mask when they go on sale right after halloween. haha. so gonna maybe wear it to the premiere. maybe even w a fake knife.. haha.

I was thinking of that to but then it might be a little to similar to scream 2 at the beginning would not want that to happen jk
But seriously that is would be awesome to wear all that and its not dork it is dedicated lol.
 
oh, id just wear the mask, but yeah.. thats gonna freak me out if people go all stab and i cant trust if anyone is trying to kill me.. lol.

I know it sounds crazy but that has always freaked me out lol it is just a little to real especially these days so i need to sit with many people :apprentice:
 
I'm not really into horror movies but I like Scream so I'll defintiely watch the 4th one too. The rest depends on what I think of the 4th. I highly doubt I'll watch it in theaters but you never know.

I have no idea if it's true but I heard they're going more classic horror in the new movies. So maybe not so much wit but I hope it's wrong. The wit is what made them special for me.

I have a whole costume. I'm not one for celebrating Halloween but we did a sleep over at work once so I had to get one. The kids didn't think it was scary. Silly me not thinking that they hadn't seen the movie. Maybe the new movies will change that. 😛
 
Oh I really hope this'll live up to the hype and will keep the standards of previous movies. There's nothing worse than seeing a series you love being dragged through the mud, just because the makers didn't know you're supposed to leave off with an appetite.

I'm gonna watch it, at least the first one of the new trilogy. I'm not really one for horror movies, but Scream has always been an exception to that. Possibly because of the cast that was really aimed at teens back then, with several big names (like Courtney Cox from Friends). I remember that's why I watched it, because the first one featured both Courtney Cox AND Rose McGowan.
 
And I call myself a fan! I really had no clue about this until I saw it here. Still, I'm way exited for this. And by the way, am I the only one who can only picture Sid in a mental health hospital now. I mean after all this crap she had to go through she had to be a little insane by now.
 
Could be fun.
Scream 1 and 2 was brilliant. The third one wasn't quite as amazing but still good enough imo.

Looking forward to see what they came up with this time. I'll see anything with Courteney Cox anyway so... 🙂

Personally, I don't find Scream scary at all. I've seen 1 and 2 and I think they're hilarious! :giggle: This one should be pretty entertaining.
 
Personally I don't see the need to resurrect this franchise.


With that said....


For this to be a true "reboot" the remaining characters from the original should all die.


It would be more shocking if Sid was killed in the opening scene, a la Drew Barrymore.

or turned out to be the killer this time.

It's not really a reboot as a continuation. Fans have been lobbying for Scream 4 since the third installment came out. And it wouldn't be too shocking if Sid died in the opening because at this point, that's what everybody expects. Kill her in the middle of the movie or something, if you're gonna kill her.
