Scream Trilogy and Scream Reboot

Does anyone else really, really love these movies like I do? I love Courteney, Neve and David and Rose Mcgowan's appearance in number 1 and SMG's appearance in 2.
The Scream film series is a series of horror films directed by Wes Craven, written by Kevin Williamson and Ehren Kruger, and was inspired by the Halloween film series and the Gainesville Ripper murders of 1990. The main plot involves a psychopathic serial killer wearing a Halloween costume attempting to kill Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and various other characters involved in her life. Each film begins with the gory murder of a couple before showing the whereabouts of Sidney. It takes off from there leading to the revelation of the killer's identity and the final battle between Sidney and the killer. They revitalized the slasher film genre in the mid 1990s, in a similar way to Halloween (1978) in the 1970s, by using a standard concept with a tongue-in-cheek approach that successfully combined straightforward scares with dialogue that satirized slasher film conventions. The first film became a major commercial success upon its release, and was one of the highest grossing films of 1996. It was also highly acclaimed by many critics worldwide, who appreciated the film's tongue-in-cheek approach. The films have grossed over $507 million at the worldwide box office.

I love the Scream movies! they are all on my top 10 list of favorite films, I went insane when I heard that a new one was gonna be made 😀
 
I love the Scream movies. I haven't been keeping up with the news for the 4th one, nor have I seen the trailer before just now.

Kristen!!!!!!! I love Kristen hahaha, I really hope it doesn't go badly cause if it does...I will make sure that heads will roll 😀
 
Here! Here! *jumps up and down* I'm a HUGE Scream nerd, I can probably still quote most of the lines. When I was ~15 I had a MASSIVE crush on Sceet Ulrich (who played Billy in Scream 1). Anyone ever notice he looks a bit like Johnny Depp?

Anyhoo, I heard about the 4th film on Comedy Central in summer and I got really excited about it. I don't think it will disappoint either... I doubt the actors would have agreed to come back if the script sucked.

When I first watched Scream 1, he was definitely a fangirl crush :D
OMG! There's another Scream movie coming out??? I'm definately need to see that! Scream are like my most favourite horror movies at all (along with the first two 'I know what you did last summer' 😉 )
 
I love the Scream movies, they're awesome horror movies that I like to watch sometimes around Halloween 🙂. I'm really excited for the new one, because alot of familiar celebrities are in it, like Anna Paquin!

There's a thread about this somewhere.... A lot of us here are super-fans of the "Scream" franchise and really excited about the new movie. 🙂
I am already planning a big outing with my girlfriends that night. 😉 my hubby will be deployed so I am gonna have to find a babysitter and make a night of it!
 
A few years ago I was so into those. Well, I was a big horror movies fan, had so many of them on video tapes (and that of course includes many SMG movies, because she does many horror movies). And up until now (literally), I was pretty ashamed of that obsession. Now I know many other people liked them too.

And anything with KB is great! I kinda wish that she would be Buffy in the Buffy reboot, she might be the only one (besides SMG) who could pull it off. Petite, blonde, cute, witty. I still don't want a Buffy reboot, but if they are doing this mistake, they should consider giving KB the part.

I only saw the first Scream movie. I'm not sure how I feel about Scream 4. I love Kristen Bell and all, I just don't know if I'll see it in theatres.😀

You can always wait for the DVD release. Or... get it in the "black market" (whatever it is). I haven't been to the movie theatre for ages! I think the last time I was, was when The Grudge came out. My dad is taking care of what I think is illigal to say on the boards.

I could check out the other Scream movies from my library.😛 If I truly wanted to.
 
They're making a fourth Scream movie? Where on earth have I been?!

This looks pretty cool, based off of the trailer. Wes Craven is still going to be directing, right?

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole idea though... there are so few trilogies in the horror genre as it is...

Craven is directing and Williamson is writing, the core 3 are also returning.

Oops! I meant to say in my rep comment that I'm only watching the BTVS reboot to see how dumb it is, but I'd watch it to watch it if Kristen Bell was in it. xD

It's going to be EPIC. 😀 I just can't bear to see one of the core 3 killed off. 🙁
