OK, we all have screen names and real names (unless you're Perny who finds it hard to have both so just uses her real name to stop herself from being confused) so I wondered which you prefer.

Now I am Ed, EB or Al (which is short for Alister but no one calls me Alister online - yet offline I don't allow anyone to call me AL...however thats because whenever someone calls me AL, I start singing) and to be honest, I don't mind any of them.
Al does suggest a slightly more friendly connection between me and the other person, so I don't mind that.

Anyway, do you prefer your real name or SN?

My real name's Chelsea. However, I have a lot of friends off another website where this used to be my sn [it's now nymphomania. 😉]. They all call me "Crabz" now (which is embarassing when you're drunk and are doing the "I love you soooooooo much" to each other, and you get people saying "I love Crabz").

Here, I like QC, Crabbit, Chelsea, Chels, I don't really care.

Yep, I'm as simple as I am in real life. My real name is Caitlin, but everyone calls me cait.

My username on the Buffy Boards goes back about 4 years ago when I left the scene I was hanging out with... Everyone kept sending me these myspace messages saying "OMGZZZZ are you like, dead, or whats?" So I eventually changed my myspace name to caitaintdead. And I thought it had a nice ring to it. In real like I'm known as blondecait. Cause I have black hair... But I enjoy being called 'oiyouidiot'

Online i'm known as Aly Fan obviously, Aly and Guest 219...And i really don't mind any of them 🙂

My real name is Kerri (Kerry-Anne...but i don't like that one)...or Kit Kat from my friends...it's not food related by the way!!

Between my screen name(s) and real name...to be honest i don't really mind/care!! 😀

LOL I am Nix, my real name is Nikki and my mates call me Nix or Nixy. I don't like being confused either lol 😛

My name is originally Francis, been called Frank by my family since I was 2, over the last 5 years I go by Frankie, because most of my mates call me that.
It would be cool to be called Atticus. Simply because I love " To Kill A Mocking - Bird". It's my favorite book, and Atticus is my favorite character.
But I prefer my name, because I'm named after my Uncle Frank, and he was a great man. 🙂

Offline I prefer to be called by my real name, Sinéad. Or any of the variations of that that my friends and family use-Sin, Néad (sounds like paid), Néady or Shinners.

My American frineds call me Shinanay or Naynay for short.

Here I like Kean.

The only exception to the rule is Lyri...I simply cannot call her by her real name and she isn't allowed call me by mine. It seems too weird somehow. So no matter where we are we will always be Kean and Lyri to each other lol

In Real Life my name is Candice but i hate being called that so everyone calls me Candi... but on here everyone calls me AB which i dont mind either way is fine... I'm so used to being AB on here if people start calling me candi i dont think i'd answer to it lol

Besides, you might mistake me for EB! (Just wait. Some day. It could happen.)

Two folks call me Aless and I've given up trying to stop them. Many folks call me Aleka. One friend calls me Layla (he makes up the craziest nicknames... and STOP SINGING!) and another calls me Lexa. Some folks call me Mara from the several years I spent on a Star Wars forum (it died 'cause we all went to college 🙁) as Mara Jade.

Here... I'm yellowcrayon, YC, yella (NOT Old Yeller, despite what folk such as sco and CotA may wish to think), yellow, pinkie and blue. I'm very colourful.

Offline, I prefer Alessandra or Aleka, don't mind Lexa, and Mara is fun. 😉 Online, I'm cool with any of those, yellowcrayon, YC, yella, yellow... pinkie and blue are reserved. 😉 But if you have a brand spanking new nickname that you're sure would be perfect for me... let me know and we'll give it a try... unless I reject it out of hand first. 😉

8300-chii has been my screen name for ages, but when I joined BB I lacked imagination, and just wrote my whole name! Then I actually got a nickname(I believe it was Lou in the IRC(sw))!
PernilleBorup just sucks big time...Because hardly anyone knows how to say it, and called me PB....suuuuucks

Hmmm....let's see...

My name is Kasima. As pretty much everyone knows, I get called Kass a lot online and off. Why have 2 esses? Because when I was little and teachers didn't know how to pronouce my name, they shortened it to Kasi, then changed it to Kasie, then Kassie, Kassy, and Kassi (the last one also being what I go by now as well).

So online (read: here), DoI is quite popular. Also Donkeys (thanks to Perny and Lou), when I first joined there were a few that used to call me def as well. And TC used to call me Dof though neither of us know why 😉

I don't mind really....I'd pretty much answer to "Hey you by the <insert name of place/object/etc here>"

Most people probably know, my real name is Aly. That's sorta where Lyri came from. Last two letters of my first name, first two letters of my middle name.

I don't mind anyone calling me either, but I think Lyri's a prettier name! Lmao.

Seriously, I have her saved in my phone book on my cell as Kean, and she has me as Lyri. I tried calling her Sinéad. It was...weird, lmao. It just does not work.

Online I tend to get AS, Angelic or the occational "Angie S" from a lovely VH-er who shall remain nameless 😉

In real life, as many of you probably already know, it's Katie (okay, so technically it's Katherine, but other than the government nobody ever calls me that). A few people call me "Kate", an old teacher for some reason calls me "Laura" and a friend of mine gave me the nickname "Peanut"-- but otherwise it's just Katie 🙂

On the boards I don't mind AS or Katie, both are fine for me
