Screen - Names

My real name is Brian or Bri to friends. It can be a little confusing as I hang around with a couple of other Brians.

I have been Brain (I also hang with dyslexics 'kay?) and Byron (Don't ask.)

I prefer Selig online because that's who I am here.

There's is one fool that calls me Zelig 😛 but that's fine as I like Woody Allen.

I have so many different screennames online, it's a bit out of control. I just pick new ones whenever I feel like it, so it's kinda needless to say they don't mean too much to me.
I prefer my real name. Which is Kristine 🙂. I have to add however, I do not approve of people pronouncing it German, that's something I hate. Luckily, here I don't really have that problem anymore. There's various nickanmes for my name. First of all, there's Tine, but that's only for German speakers (you know, those one's who shouldn't pronounce my name German but can't do it in English should best call me Tine). My friends in Germany call me that for the most. I also have some friends that call me Krissy, but I don't really care too much for that. I'm also okay with people calling me K, but people hardly ever do that.
Well, mostly I'm okay with Kristine, as long as it's pronounced in the English way 🙂

I've been called lots of things. 😛 Bb, Bluebie, Bluebs, Birdy. I don't mind really. And my real name's Christine, which is ok I guess. Sounds a bit like a middle-aged woman though.

Screen Name: I tend to have a screen name that relates to whatever site I'm on- so I have a name to relate to each thing otherwise I would become confused and would start talking Buffy on the Mommy board or Politics on a Gilmore Girls forum or whatever. But for anything online-writery related I use lysandria (which is from the time I got a typo on the name lysandra one time....:blush🙂

Real Name: Lana. People generally call me Lana (duh), Lani, Lana Banana (one-friend specific admittedly), Elle (Pronounced L as in the initial of my name people who call me that spell it as though short for Eleanore or something...so go figure), L-Kat (an initials extravaganza)....and my Grandmother always used to call me Blondie because I was the only Blonde in the family. Course I reached 7 and wondered why she was calling me the name of a singer and so she stopped.

Preference: Any at all. As long as you don't get my name wrong. People in the past have called me Alana, Larna, Lauren, Laura, Laurie, Lena, Lance (yes, LANCE).....it was the last thing they ever did 😀

My screen name comes from a madonna song as does my other screen name from a previous forum and my email address now i think of it, real names elaine but you cant really get a nickname or anything out of that so i dont mind what im called.

I usually prefer to be called by my screen-name, unless I know the person fairly well. It's less awkward that way - if someone calls me by my real name it kind of implies to me that they think they know me. Which is fine if they do, but weird if they don't. It's partially because my real name "Craig" can't really be shortened to make a more casual sounding name for me.

Although, it was different when my username was Five by Five. That was less easy for people to shorten or use, especially in the IRC, so I didn't find it as strange when people used my real name. Or "CRG!!!!!". Now I just tend to get Linds, which I'm used to.

And, just so you know, if you're used to calling me by my real name, I don't mind. It's not you that I'm talking about.

Unless it is you. Yes, you. You know who you are. :silly:

You forgot, "Craigathan".

Lindsey McDonald agrees: Forgot, not so much... Thanks Ms. Dick.

RIGHT, that's IT. We are THROUGH.

I like my screenname but I couldn't imagine anyone calling me that in real life. I'll always be Coffey in real life (you know the drill, like the drink but not spelled the same....). Or some friends call me Coffs, or Caffeine.

"would you like some corn bread mr jingles?.....I'M GOIN KILL YOU!"
Screen names...let me see hurr.

When I first joined Mythical Boards, I was Rahtet Mesektet. Mesektet has been my in names for...ever. And ever. And ever ever. Sometimes I get bored and change it up - Lucretia, Cruel Melody, Aponia, Mania...or, y'know, Queen MessyKat. And you gotta bow when you address me as that, too. It's only fitting.

Here, I'm either MR or Mes or Messy. My real name is Nikki. Technically Nicole, but anyone who calls me that better be my mother or expect a fist to the face. I use Mesektet a lot IRL too - to search for my phone on Bluetooth, when I save videogames, my profile on Xbox, stuff like that. I usually shorten it to Mes just for the hell of it.

My real name is Crazy Flakes, of course. Why do you think I chose it as my username?

No, seriously, my real name is Jenna. But it weirds me out when people online call me that because, well, I don't actually know you. Besides, CF is a much cooler name.

Real name is Christine but no one calls me that. I am Buffy to my husband and every other non-buffy board I frequent where I don't use MommaTis.

In RL I use Chrissy though my family tends to shorten it to Chris. I started using the Screen Name MommaTis when I first hit the net years ago because it was a hodgepodge of what my daughters and my nephews call me and it is always available w/o having to add numbers or symbols.

So Tis; Chrissy either one is fine.

Don matter whatcha call me so long as you call...

Re:

Well, my screen-name is obvious, but so far I've been called VT, Tramp, and Trampy. Some people call me (online) Alex. Nobodys been brave enough to call me Al yet. 😉 But really Alexandra is my middle name. It's not the name I go by in daily life, but I've never really liked my first name so I go by Alex when I can. 😉
Personally I don't care what you call me! 😉

Hi Al!! See i is Brave :D
My real name IS Airam so, I guess count me as another easily confused one *glares at Al* :silly:

My online name for pretty much everything for a long time used to be Starbelly (Its a Hole song) but on the last forum I was on we all got so close we all started calling eachother by our first names anyway so most of us ended up changing to our real names, so I guess when I got here I was just used to the real name thing so I just registed that way. Guess my name is probably weird enough that most people don't realize it is my real name and just have no idea where I pulled it from, lol. My mom's name is Maria, she named me her name backwards, thats about the it of the story

Your mother is awesome!
I've been using Paperdoll (or itsxpaperdoll, or paperdoll-- or other variations) for screen names for quite some time now. My real name is Sara. Without an H at the end, because H-less is the cooler version 😉. You can call me whatever you like. I'm fine with Paperdoll, PD, Sara, whatever. My RL friends often call me Saar or Saartje, but those are very Dutch so don't bother pronouncing them. I have been called Sahara from time to time, but only by people who I didn't like and didn't like me, so that's a no-go.

Can I just call you doll? ;)
Only my blood(y) relatives and official documents may use my real first name with impunity, so once more, I cop out of posting it here.

Friends call me Ben (unrelated to my proper birth name) or Mysti, or Myyy (<< the latter one is almost exclusively used by a crazy bunch of Bavarian women on a German chat site 😀 ). Some people - mostly those I don't see regularly anymore, but who knew me from a few years past - call me Ele (like the -phant... pronounced German, though: AY-luh) as I went by that for years and years since my school days; I'm not too fond of that one anymore, but don't overly mind it either - it definitely beats being called by my birth name.

Real name? Victoria. But no one calls me that other than my Grandma and people who enjoy making me squirm. I usually get Vicky, V or Tori. But I don't really like any of those names. I like my middle name, but no one calls me that. I like my screen name. I don't appreciate people calling me BoF now (*Glares at Clem Rocks*) I like being called Anya. 😛 But, Vicky is fine. Whatever floats your boat. Oh, and as for screen names on other sites, they all seem to have 'vengeance' somewhere in them, so that's still Anya-like.

I'm going to call you "Vicky" like the Wicked Witch of the West says it on those Orange Wednesday ads from now on. :P
My screen name is obviously Angel's Avenger. I used to be Gilesau.

My real name is Natasha. Please don't call me Nat, I hate it.
