Yeah - either an inflamed nerve or a ruptured disc. Now I am chained to the lounge chair with heavy narcotics - which could have been fun but I am 2/3 the way through the first book that has been successful in this book deal. Sometime my life sucks beyond the telling of it.

I've been laid up for the last two weeks, floating on an oxycodone cloud, just because I tried to help lift a mattress. As if the pain and immobility isn't bad enough, this is the weekend for the BLADE Show, the biggest knife show in the country, in Atlanta. Not as important as not being able to write, but plenty frustrating.

I would say that I feel your pain, but right now, I can't even feel my toes.

Hope we both get well soon.

Listen to your body and don't come on BB if you don't feel like it, your health is way more important 🙂
 
Yeah - the dreaded tube. God, I hate those things. I'm claustrophobic as all sh*t, and I read way to many buried alive stories when i was a kid - a very morbid kid. So being put on a small pallet and shoved into a tube so small that you have to hold your hands on your chest, and the ceiling is inches from your face, and you can't move at all - and it lasts forever.....first time I ever had one I pushed the panic button as soon as I was completely entombed.

I have learned. I will be in the heavily medicated section, hanging on by my figurative fingertips.

I have degenerative disc which means those nice little balloons of water that keep your spinal nerves safe from being crushed by bone have all dried up. My guess is that one of the suckers crumbled back in late March and they nerves is impinged. It's working fast - hurts like holy hell and now parts of my leg are numb. I really hope it's not another surgery - but it might mean i have to have one.

Anyway - thanks for the messages and sorry I'm not really answering. I haven't been on much - I hope that changes soon. Miss you guys!
