Scythe?

Ok so like most people I jumped at the opportunity to purchase tue buffy the vampire slayer Factory X slayer scythe. It is a nice collectible but its also crap. Its very fake looking and don't get me started on the handle wrap! Anyways I wanna a real scythe a real sharp cool scythe to be proud to hang up. I've researched long and hard for a year Now. Can someone just tell me who to go too, a sword smith? Can I do it myself? Lol I just want a real one and cant believe it hasn't been made yet!
