Article Sean Maher comes out as gay

Well shot, there goes my plan of meeting him and getting him to fall in love with me! Anyway, very nice article and good for him. The stuff about the pressure and homophobia- makes me sad and sick to my stomach. He has some very nice things to say about Firefly which I love as well. Best of luck to him in everything even though I have no desire to watch Playboy Club LOL!
 
I am glad he feels comfortable coming out. And the Firefly section was really nice. I'm waiting to see how they and everyone else responds to it. Hopefully they are all nice.

On a more serious note, it must suck to be in love with a person and not be able to hold their hand in public, take them to parties/business events/public gatherings, and to have it be held against you in your profession.

We're a pretty gay friendly crowd here. The rest of the world isn't so nice. 🙁
