Has anyone noticed that this guy is EVERYWHERE at the moment? He's dueted with Blu Cantrell, now Beyonce had his own hit singles in the space of a month or two, does anyone find this irritating?
 
Sean Paul has actually been around for a long long time, and its only in the past year that he has started to come to the UK. Its good to see him finally getting the recognition here that he deserves.
 
He did a song with Beyoncé? I didn't know that, what's the title.

I have his album, great one!
 
I dont find him irritating...I think he's kewl...Top of The Game is a dark song..the beatboxing at the begin is sik..
 
lol he like poped out of nowhere, but i LOVE his song Like glue lol hes a fun singer!
Oh as for Beonce every one sings with her even Vanness Wu (and hes in a taiwanese boy band) They sing the re-mix to crazy in love and Vanness sings Jay-Z's part in Taiwanese lol
 
Does he have to? Not very person has to be able to sing beat box and play the banjo simultaneously you know (although I do know one person who can do that, in all seriousness)
 
well yeah all this pop has music like everyother type of singing but the people who do that hard work get no credit.

they work just as hard as the face the record company use to get money
 
Don't don't really like him, but I have to admit to loving to dance to his stuff, the beat is really good, it's kind of hard to sit still when it's playing.

The same story, musical diligence on behalf of the industry coupled with another scripted structure, mainstream pseudo feeding the herd awash a sea of lyrical bile and monotonous, modern day... annoyng, self-righteous, pretentious, crap that won't be too far ventured past an unrestrictive higher goal.

Good stuff if your akin to the dancehall, however another wasted shadow in the limelight to me.
 
lol@ dancehall. I will never understand why some poeple feeel certain types of music are beneath them; I'm someone who likes just about anything and everything, and so what if it isn't a high scale opera or craftwork; music's not about that, it's about what you enjoy, and what suits you
 
I'm the same way-I'll listen to anything...sometimes, I won't like alot of stuff in a certain genre, but that doesn't mean I won't sample some...it's always good to keep your mind open. I can honestly say I like one song in almost every musical genre.

Fair point, but don't you think "some" people like that are justified if the music to them doesn't attain what they like as the listener themselves. If you like just about anything and everything, that doesn't mean you have no place for music you don't like and therefore music that ideally you'd put, beneath you. Don't quite understand what you intend by that? 😉
