Okay, I was searching for something on the Boards but I keep getting this error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 662936 bytes) in /home/vilandra/public_html/search.php on line 1156

What am I doing wrong?

I sort of can't find this thread I was reading anymore, so I tried looking it up with the search engine...

You did a search, on BUFFY-boards for Buffy/Cordelia and wonder why it comes back saying memory exhausted.

Jeez come back with a real problem!!!

LOL.

Seriously, a search looks for threads with both or either words and as you picked two of THE most popular words on this site, you're not gonna have much look.
 
I tried the search and got the same message. I'm not 100% sure but my guess would be the EB is right with the search not being able to handle that general a request (there would just be SO many results to find on BB). If you go to "Search" --> "Advanced Search" you can narrow it down by the last posting-date and area of the forums that the thread was in (if you can remember which it was in) and try adding a couple other search words that you can think of that may have been mentioned in that thread.

Or, if all else fails (and it's a fairly recent thread), if you can remember a user that posted there you may be able to find it by searching for threads they posted in recently. 🙂
