I just watched 'The Pack' from Season 1, Xander is so funny,cool and mean at the same time! It's definitely one of my fave episodes now.
 
i personally dont rate this as one of the better Xander episodes, much prefer the one with his zombie friends. I do much prefer Xander in series 1-3 cos hes not so much a loser any more. Same thing happened to chandler, funny,loser kinda guy now hes funny non loser. Just isnt the same.
 
Xander and Chandler are so similar!!!
My favourite episodes evolved round Xander are The Zeppo and B,B&B!!!
 
Oh, so it's not just me, then?! Xander and Chandler have EXACTLY the same mannerisms! And they both go for bossy girls- I mean Monica is pretty similar to Anya and Cordelia! Well, not so much Cordelia, but Anya definitely. Those two are serious control freaks!
Anyway, Xander and Chandler are always coming out with all these sarcastic comments, but when they do their serious moments, the whole world weeps!
 
i liek the episode the pack... its good... that and "Angel" are my fav. episodes from the 1st seasons.... xander ya gotta love him...

i also like "the pack" ep... your right Xander is really funny in that one! Xander is such a great character.😀 (the Zeppo ep... the one with the zombies... and Xander, where he drives them around!Is also a great Xander ep🙂 )

I am only finishing watching season 2, but I agree with you! That is definitly a great one! I also like the Bothered, Bewildered, Bewitched (i think that is the title). Xander cracked me up in that one as well!
 
Ive noticed that Xander is always a likable character, with everyone in 'The Pack'
People seem to like him a lot in that particular episode 😉
 
I actually didn't care too much for "The Pack"...probably something to do with my fondness for cute little piglets. *tear*

Believe it or not I never even thought about comparing Xander to Chandler. But you're all right! They are so similar it's scary that I didn't notice it before.
 
I noticed the Xander/Chandler thing too. I didn't like "The Pack" too much, but it was cool to see Xander differently. The season 1 episodes I really like are Prophecy Girl, Angel, The Witch, and (sort of) Nightmares.
 
He does seem to have this whole coolness factor about him.
He's the cool nerd! lol!
 
I always thought that Xander was more of a mix between Chandler and Jim carrey- sometimes he even looked like him!

Best Xander eps are:
the pack
B,B&B
the zeppo
the replacement

also there are 2 very great xander bits in other eps- the bit where he confronts larry in the locker room about being a 'werewolf' and the bit in reptile boy when he becomes a "new pledge"

have you noticed the fact that i love xander yet?
 
I agree with most of you that Xander is always funny. He brings much needed sarcism (as said in the eppy where Buffy goes back to meet the first watcher people) The Pack was ok I guess, that was really the only time we've seen him 'evil' aside from 'the wish'. It was a nice change i guess.
 
I loved The Pack. And would I be pegged a total freak if I said it was kinda a turn on when Xander was wrestling with Buffy? Cause it so was...I liked him all agressive...he was such a BAD little puppy!!! GROWL!!!

Yes, he was very raw! It was great to see his character a little bad puppyish.
 
lol, yeah that scene was very hot. of course, i'm probably in the minority when i say that i'd rather be on top of buffy than under xander, but....

i did think the pack was a good episode, but not my favorite in that season. i really liked Prophecy Girl, Witch, Nightmares, and The Puppet show. Angel not so much just b/c his character really sux in season 1. I felt so bad for Xander in prophecy girl. Wow, getting a bit off topic but yeah he is hillarious and very similar to chandler. They say the things that are most funny out of context.

"To read makes our speaking english good" hehehe....
