Season 10, Volume 4- Old Demons

Cover art for the next Buffy volume due out next year apparently.

Mind control? Check. Buffy/Angel/Spike love triangle? Check. A&F crossover? Check. I mean, I love the cover, I think that it looks great but...come on!

for the most part, i like steve morris's rendition of buffy, he does seem to capture her likeness very well and his style is very appealing. he seems to be doing better with her expressions, as she is appearing more emotional, buttttt... his proportions are teetering. the worst was clearly his cover for 10.19, but even here... she looks thin, frail, and like a bobble head. i know she is supposed to be tiny, but she can be tiny without looking sick. even the scythe seems weak here. aside from buffy, the rest of the cover is very lively, and i love that.

I was just going to say something similar. She seems oddly stretched out, elongated, and at the same time quite infantile.

All the same, the rest of the cover is beautiful, and the overall look is good.

Yeah, I agree she looks terrible waif like but If you want the bobble head 'kidault' look then imo that was Jeanty, who's weird way of drawing people was incredibly disproportionate. Large heads and small bodies.

I was so glad when he finally left the book.

lol i know, i hate the way he drew people, they didn't remotely appear to be adults and his buffy never resembled her... maybe once in awhile... but maybe that was me trying to make myself think she did
