Lol, @GwenRaiden if I was a comic book artist no one would be allowed to have feet at all 😉

I always struggle with the hands, so most of the people I draw hide their hands behind their backs. 😀
 
I think that was Rebekah Isaacs who said that finds it hard drawing hands - she always does too big.
 
OK. What do we learn from the cover?
  • Dawn and Xander are not in it.
  • There's a volcano coconut tree thing. Hawaii?
  • In addition to the scythe, Buffy still holds a stake. D'Hoffryn's lackeys are mainly vamps?
  • Willow, Buffy and Spike wear a little, but Giles wears a lot. Willow wears much less than she usually does in the show and earlier comics.
  • What's up with the water thing? Has the Big Bad written something like "raise the sea level by 50 meters" on the book?
 
they really should pick a new cover artist for s11.... his smg likenesses are going downhill, aside from the lib. edition of s9 and s10#14 his willow is not even close to hannigan. and as mentioned earlier with the feet- his proportions are terrible. sometimes they are alright, but his leg lengths that try to accomodate perspective just dont work. also look at buffy's right shoulder... too thin.

pros: im loving spike here- usually steve morris makes him too old looking, but this is good. also nice to see buffy in a stylish top vs. the plain tee or white tanktop that shes been wearing on a few covers. much more buffy style. and d'hoffryn is great.

i think the water is a metaphor, he uses that a lot imo. and the coconut island thing- reference to where dawn and xander are? it reminds me of the isaacs' cover where they were drinking from coconut mugs if i recall correctly.
